This morning I delivered online safety training for the 12th Parliament of Botswana and providing women MPs with our Fix The Glitch Toolkit. I also spoke about what MPs can do to make the online space safer for civil society groups and their constituents #fixtheglitch

It's time for regulation and investment in digital citizenship education. The online space is a community where everyone should feel safe and that means tech companies having a duty of care to its users #fixtheglitch

$600 a week transfers to $15/hr. You can’t have your minimum wage lower than a livable wage.

It’s odd how their idea of a livable wage isn’t reality.

One thing that blows my mind is that half of the people receiving unemployment benefits are making more not working than working. Which means when the government came up with this $600 figure it was calculated along with state benefits to be what they thought was a livable wage.
