The #NorwichBombMap was created by the Air Raid Precautions Dept during WW2. It has 679 paper labels attached by pins showing location, date and size of each bomb. The map is 188 x 182 x 8cm and was conserved in 2012. #SomethingBig #Archive30 @ARAScot

This early 19th century map of part of the liberties of Belper, Duffield and Makeney is one of the largest we have, measuring just over 3m by just over 4m. You can unroll it in the Searchroom if you really want to, but the digital copy is much easier to look at! #SomethingBig
