This a Meeting of all levels of government for Delta, BC held in the midst of the Covid-19 Lockdown of 2020 to discuss what they could do about the problematic (private organization) Delta Hospice Society who refused to allow euthanasia (MAiD) into the Hospice. Yesterday during our pop up 2 young women stopped by and asked me if they could asked me a question. The question posed to me was “why am I doing this?” I then asked back, do you mean sitting here?” The response was, “no, I mean why are you a canvasser, why are you doing any of this, what’s in it for you?” The question was easy to answer. I have children and grandchildren that I want to have a future that is prosperous, free and fair. I want them to grow up in a country where if you work hard you can be successful, a country where your voice is heard, a country that values morality, God and ethics. A country where all are equal under the law regardless of race, color or culture. A country where the citizens rule and not the governing body of the day. As an Albertan, remaining in Canada guarantees our rights and freedoms are further eroded, our voice is never heard, our resources are continually exploited, our income is taxed beyond survivability and our leader would rather have communist China versus the USA as a strategic partner. Cardiologist-approved. The trans fat content was not discussed, because the people funding the studies were not in the business of discussing trans fat content. They are now saying it about red meat. About saturated fat. About cholesterol. About the LDL hypothesis that has never survived a randomised controlled trial with all-cause mortality as the endpoint. As much as I trust the president, it’s clear it’s about that time to bring this war in the Middle East in for a landing. Hopefully he finishes it within the original 4-6 week timeline. That means a week from now.
