@SWolf712 Turns out the FromSoft fans decided this was a good decision because of what was changed in the Demon Souls remake. FromSoft can’t do wrong in their eyes.

@NormPhantom your response to this is funny. I present evidence to support my case and instead of refuting it and proving me wrong you simply say "I don't like your evidence" this entire conversation has been about how the Metroid series portrays Samus's height.

@JangotheBlueFox The models are from Other M, but that doesn’t mean they accurately portray the actual heights. That’s the point. If in game models can be exaggerated then using them against other m is moot. I’m not getting into the argument of how the Metroid series portrays Samus’ height.

@NormPhantom those models are from Other M, that's how she's depicted in the games. I'm not just using that image I'm using the entire franchise to invalidate the idea that she's 5'11". Other M is the one and only game where she's depicted or stated to be 5'11". she's 6'3" in every other game

@JangotheBlueFox I don’t care if Samus is 5’11 or 6’3. I’m not arguing against Samus being 6’3 nor am I advocating for Samus being 5’11. I am arguing against using the in game models as a means to invalidate the 5’11 height. In game model heights can be exaggerated for artistic purposes.

@NormPhantom that image is accurate to how she looks in-game. if you want an accurate representation of her height these are the Figma figures from Other M which depict her at the correct height outside of the suit. her depiction in-game is inaccurate. she is 6'3" outside the suit.

@JangotheBlueFox Let me put it this way. Do you honestly believe that the heights depicted here for the suit and Samus show a difference in 5’11 vs 6’3? The suit looks a whole foot taller than Samus. The difference should only be 4 inches and yet the suit towers over Samus.

@NormPhantom so are you saying her arms and legs all get four inches longer? how exactly do that work? if you stick a 5'11" person in a suit of armor that is 6'3" none of the joints on the arms and legs would match up. her hands wouldn't even reach the gloves.

@JangotheBlueFox I’m saying that you can’t really use the in game models as an argument to explain why 5’11 Samus wouldn’t work. Samus not fitting based on the model wouldn’t accurately represent a 5’11 person not fitting in a 6’3 suit because the in game models make one too small or too large.

Almost as if Other M’s depiction of Samus’ height is anachronistic compared to how consistent her height of 6’3” in and out of the suit is in literally every other Metroid game.

Except neither of those in game models are accurate representations of their actual height. 5’11 is much closer to 6’3. Those in game models make it seem like the suit is a whole foot taller than Samus.

Samus doesn’t make it to the top of her shoulders. Samus’ neck and head don’t fit in what is supposed to be a 4 inch difference.

There should only be a 4 inch difference between the suit and Samus, and yet Samus only comes up to the middle of her chest plate. I’m 5’8 and have a 6’1 friend. I measure up to his chin.

@NeoGameSpark Well considering that we got recent leaks about the budget about Z-A and Gen 10 and those had bigger budgets, I don’t think it’s accurate to say they put no effort in.

Been playing Pokémon Violet for a bit. I refuse to believe this game is on the same system as Tears of the Kingdom and Xenoblade 3 Ain’t no way, dawg. Gamefreak puts absolutely no effort into this series

Dragon Ball Fans would probably appreciate this technique more if they understood it better and watched more martial arts based media. All three of these characters have an “Ultra Instinct” like technique that leads to using their Ki like this because in martial arts mastering “No Mind” basically in nerdy terms is becoming “one with the force”. “Susanoo” is a god from Shinto mythology who also achieved this state.

@JordanLDurham Lot of people dislike this simply because the story set up and pay off doesn’t happen like it did for Goku or Gohan. When you press on this for Goten and Kid Trunks you just get a half hearted hand wave dismissal.

If you ever wanted to see a thread that perfectly encapsulates how little some dragon ball fans know about the series this is it. The amount of comments I’ve seen calling the U6 Saiyans weak and undeserving etc, is wild. Caulifla is straight up stated to be a prodigy, Cabba is the ace of U6’s warrior defense force and Kale is literally their LSSJ.
