Fun fact, I asked for Maguire’s autograph back in 2018 (I was 12) as he didn’t get on the Man United coach and walked out into the SJP car park near the traffic lights, I then shouted you’re my favourite player, his Mam said “better luck next time kid.”

Important days and weeks lie ahead for Shea Lacey. More first-team minutes could be on the cards against Brighton on Sunday, and meaningful involvement in United's pre-season is expected to follow.
A loan move for next season hasn't been ruled out, but nothing will be decided until later in the summer when the club's plans are clarified. A number of Championship clubs will be alert to his situation.

“Second again,” was the chorus, brutal and cutting in equal measures.
𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣? Everyone understood what those two words signified.
It was not so long ago, after all, that City supporters were blasting that song out as a celebration of Arsenal’s apparent ability to turn themselves from nearly men into genuine champions.
Heck, every club’s supporters were taunting them this way. The schadenfreude was off the scale.
Now, though, the followers of Pep Guardiola’s team may have to understand why it is being turned back on them.
Unless, of course, there is still one more twist to come.

Michael Carrick says he is ‘disappointed’ at FA Youth Cup final venue decision. He won it with West Ham in 1999 (matches played at main stadiums). “I'm disappointed. The Youth Cup final always seems to have been a thing where you play at the main stadium. It's such a showcase event for players of that age group. Some of my best memories, in that competition of playing with your close mates. It's a shame that it hasn't worked out for whatever reason.”
