I don’t have a transcript yet but she basically asked: “Didn’t they put birthright citizenship in the constitution in order to avoid this type of debate over who gets to claim a domicile?” And Sauer just stuttered. And then Sonia Sotomayor comes in with the “doesn’t this open the door to the government withdrawing citizenship from people who were born here?” More stuttering.

I get sometimes people go overboard with it, but nah like its genuinely insane that the diamonds face no real actual consequences for: galaxy wide mutilation of their own people + the gemming of worlds wiping out countless alien species and fauna (even if non sentient).

@Bottles_GSC Its a show... the rules are quite literally made up. Like I dont think him killing them directly would be a good choice for what is a childrens show, but they could have done anything. Hell you can take the avatar route and just make up some way for them to lose their powers.
