@mschwind300 I'd suggest you should focus on your own issues before worrying about other countries.
English

@Maki71 Thank you! Hopefully I can grasp this new job so I can keep it 🤣
English

@freddyfootlong @gmptraffic @NWmwaypolice As a motorway officer, I would suggest she's dealt with a fair few
English

Today we wish a happy retirement to one of our own. After 29 years in GMP, 24 of which on Traffic, PC 8870 Powner leaves behind a true legacy. All the best for the future from all of us within the Roads Policing Unit and Greater Manchester Police @NWmwaypolice

English

@TOTC23 @igorrrbiscan @gmptraffic @NWmwaypolice Wonder how many lives she has saved by taking drink and drugged drivers off the street
Wonder how many lives she has saved when responding to incidents on the motorway.
Wonder how many car thieves she has arrested.
Get a grip
English

@igorrrbiscan @gmptraffic @NWmwaypolice Wonder how many people’s rights she has violated over the years, and how much money she’s taken off families tables
English

@pen6699 So you honestly think the example I posted above should have been sent to an independent body to deal with? Therefore giving them less time to deal with matters they should be dealing with?
English

@Northern_Bobby Nah, it's much better you handle complaints. Quickest route to the trash can.
English

@Krystal_O_H_R If someone gets something wrong a small thing like an apology can make a huge difference. Could actually trun people back on our side.
English

@Northern_Bobby Ok, don't get it. I mean in 42 years only had one problem with two officers where they called me and folks lairs. Then when it was proved we weren't, no apology. Apart from them never had single issue with officers, which they seem happy with as I'm 6ft8 and built like a wall 😆
English

@skicrampons @maurice_1960 Exactly! This officer is in the process of trying for a new role. A conduct complaint could have an impact on that.
English

@skicrampons @maurice_1960 Didn't even thank her for her complaint. The first thing I said was "I need to ask, was this a serious complaint"
English

@Northern_Bobby ‘‘Twas a great ice breaker 😂
English

@tctimperley Hearing the account from the officer her driving was dreadful so you are 100% right
English

@Northern_Bobby 😳 Oh dear, she should be thankful she was caught before she killed or maimed someone. Stick her in a cell and pipe sirens and blue flashing lights in there.
English

@onastrangeday But that shouldn't have even come across my desk. The initial call handler should be able to say.....no I am not logging that
English

@Northern_Bobby It’s not the complaints system
It’s a total lack of respect for the law and police service. She has even got the humility to realise she’s seriously made a mess of her own life.
English

@Clifffan20 @TomGaymor I was much more polite but I did tell her to go away
English

@TomGaymor @Northern_Bobby Because unfortunately some don’t have the gumption to tell them , NO, go away. There’s always someone up the complaint chain that will give complainants what they want, despite the officer having done nothing wrong
English

@CarolinejGoode I shouldn't laugh but the idea of you having that conversation did make me chuckle
English

@Northern_Bobby I had a vexatious complainant that followed me wherever I got posted. The complaints escalated until eventually she accused me of murdering Princess Di. Such a joy having that conversation with the boss every time I got promoted “ I apologise now, but you will receive a letter…”
English

@JamesTh08371816 To me "swept under the carpet" has negative connotations like we've covered something up. This was just closed
English

@Northern_Bobby Tell her to go and jump and ban her for 10yrs.
The police complaints people should have just swept it under the carpet
