Capitalism is a death sentence for the planet: Out of control climate change, corporations polluting our air and water, working class communities poisoned by the greed of the billionaire class.
But just like we reject the politicians who tell us that climate change isn’t real, we need to reject the idea that it’s too late to do anything about it.
We can save the planet – but we won’t be able to do it through individual effort.
The hundreds of millions of people in this country who are imperiled by capitalism’s destruction of the planet need to join with the billions around the world facing the same fate and end this system once and for all! Once the drive for profit above all else is eliminated, we can reorganize transportation, the electrical grid, agriculture and more so that the planet can thrive while human needs are met.

Critical to understand that what the U.S. is trying to do is help private entities seem like the only bountiful, sustainable operations on an island otherwise being starved by blockade. The goal is building petty bourgeois class and undermining the Cuban government’s legitimacy.

Reuters confirms why I’ve been saying: the U.S. has been allowing fuel in to Cuban private businesses like foreign-operated hotels but barring it from hospitals and other publicly run institutions. I’m sure that the NYT and The Free Press, which produced entire articles about Hasan Piker’s hotel, will do a follow up now
