Any chance Tiger Woods had the same kind of help hitting 340 yd 3 woods that Barry Bonds had for hitting HRs?

Fun group to walk with today in Phoenix. Cool to see Michelle Wie playing as one of the “ams”. Still has a ton of game! It’s awesome to bring the Mulligan Foundation to the @LPGA and we are thrilled to be working with the crazy talented athletes out there. #mentalhealthmatters

@jaysonyork Disagree on this one. The impact on those who go, adult or teen, is huge and often life-changing as they see the world through a different lens.

Unpopular pastoral opinion #17 Most short term missions trips serve little/no benefit to anyone. Occasionally disaster relief or specific evangelistic outreaches are impactful. Most trips are Christian tourism or a form of international youth camp Mostly a waste of time/money

@DesireeAmerica4 If you make it to 62, there is a 60% chance of making it to 82 if you are a man and 70% chance if you are a woman. Odds are you will lose money if you take it at 62.

The biggest gamble of your life? Social Security. The system tells you to wait. Take it at 62: $1,800/mo. Wait till 70: $3,000/mo. Sounds like a no-brainer, right? Run the math. To actually profit from waiting, you have to live past 82. The average US life expectancy? 79. With the garbage in our food and the stress we carry today, making it to 82 is a massive bet. Are you taking the money at 62 and running, or holding out for the bigger check?

@TheGhostofhogan I can’t think of a better criteria than age but dang I know the gene pool you’re swimming in has a lot to do with the aging process. By the way, how far up from the tips does the Champions tour normally play?

I think champions Tour should lower age to 45. For the most part, not every player, once you hit 55 the game goes downhill. Again not all plyrs but in general. So get them out there at age 45. They have no chance on regular tour (again there are examples of 45+ yr olds winning on regular Tour BUT in general they flop around from 45-49 and can’t compete) so let them go play Champs Tour at age 45. What’s the drawback?

Golf dress code violations are always a hot topic. Just recently a PGA Tour player got a reprimand for an untucked shirt. So what is the verdict on a lady player in a crop top? Annabelle Fuller dropped this outfit at the AUS PGA. I think it’s 🔥.

@Steigerworld2 They are just there as cannon fodder for the #1 and #2 seeds and a reason for a coach to argue for retaining his job for the next year.

Going back to 1965 through 2025 the combined record of 14, 15 and 16 seeds in the men’s NCAA basketball tournament is 36-444.

@SirNomad @ksorbs When something is “free” people overspend. Think of ordering the more expensive entree or the extra dessert when you have a gift card. Grocery stores can overcharge because so many people are getting it free or subsidized and are therefore, not price sensitive.

@ksorbs Except that's not how it works. Those people get money that they can spend on the food. They spend the money on the food, the stores are paid, the manufacturers and farmers are paid. The high prices are caused by a host of other reasons, including FDA regulations and monopolies.

@mrmckee Chris, the Valspar is better for golf because it is played in the US & run by the PGAT. No-one outside the US is interested in the game that was invented in the US. It's really quite simple, I don't understand why you don't see this.

Honest question for the mainstream golf pundits like Eamon Lynch or Evin Priest etc who hate LIV, can you explain to me why this is bad for golf but whats happening at the Valspar Championship this week is better for golf?

@davidhogg111 There’s just not enough land left between the green space and the institutional space already occupied to build more housing. You would need to tear down existing low-density housing and replace it with high-density to have any effect.

It’s hard to see this as anything other than a plan to massively limit the overall housing supply in DC we need way more housing in DC not less

👋 DC housing policy Twitter 🏘️🏗️ The Office of Planning released their *draft* Future Land Use Map earlier today. 🗺️: dc2050.dc.gov/pages/draft-fu… The map will be a big part of the city's next Comprehensive Plan rewrite, "DC 2050." What are your thoughts?

I understand that new neighborhoods will not be mature enough to have wonderful canopy trees, duh. But why are they (basically) not planting any trees at all? I think I see four or five baby trees? A new neighborhood rarely looks good, but ones like this will NEVER look good.

Jessie Buckley dedicated her Oscar award winning speech to being a mother and wife: “I love being your mom. I can’t wait to discover life beside you… To understand the capacity of a mother‘s love is the greatest collision of my life. I would like to dedicate this to the beautiful chaos of a mother’s heart.” Children are the greatest blessing!
