BREAKING: Per @LeagueRDY and @KayserHoops Northwestern sophomore guard K.J. Windham plans to enter the transfer portal. Windham didn’t play much during the 2025-26 season and averaged just 3.5 PPG, but had a big role down the stretch of his freshman season with six games in double figures.

I think a lot of people are overreacting with "There will never be another upset we are gonna have a D1AA soon also this is a conspiracy by Jon Rothstein" Yes, regulation would benefit the sport at large, Yes, unregulated transfer portal (and to an extent NIL) made it worse

The Mountain West champ went toe to toe with the Big 12 champ for much of this game. Major credit again to Utah State. A program that no matter what coach or player leaves, finds a way. Arizona is a juggernaut, but were tested here. Moving on to the Sweet 16🌵

I think people are really overstating the impact of NIL on current trends decreasing upsets, the main issue is the way the transfer portal concentrates talent in the top of the top, making these 4+ seeds harder to beat

@joeflaccoburner Some of the other schools are there they just don't have map area. I also am not sure this is AI generated but instead AI upscaled based on a human-made map because the map itself looks mostly accurate in ways AI usually isn't.
