I haven't met a long distance runner that doesn't crush it at life. I'm not convinced running 26 miles is healthy, but you can't argue that it attracts total killers.

I love The Acolyte, I really do. But why is it so grainy? The amount of noise or grain is really noticable imo, feels somewhat deliberate. These aren't low quality images either, they're official 4K stills.

@thesamparr I am in a similar boat to you. Mine tug on my achilles and plantar fascia. What I find is working is resting my calf's on a very hard roller (I use wood) and don't roll but keep it there for 20-30 seconds, then move up the leg bit by bit. The calf muscles are gradually improving

To my running nerds, doctors, therapists, health nerds: I have chronically tight calves. Which causes tons of achilles pain. MRIs show achilles tendonitis. Prevents me from running consistently. Been this way for 10 years. I've tried everything: losing weight, heel drops, night splints, stretching, needling, percussion gun, diff shoes. Is there ANYTHING that help solve this? I've read tons of research/papers - can't find good answers. I'm a former D1 400m runner. I'd kill to be able to run long distances or sprint like I used to!
