Today: - make bed - feed birbs - quarantine birb who's not doing so hot ☹️ - clean up bedding in the birbhouse - move giant brush pile - move giant pile of live oak trimmings (These went in separate piles, obvs) - water apple trees - discover pecan trees on the fence - mow front yard (with the push mower!) - clean up some crap in the side yard from the move - discover the grape vine we planted last year and thought it died is ALIVE AND KICKING ASS - mow side yard (this is somewhere between ⅓-½ acre with the push mower) - weedeat side yard - start to weedeat front yard - say fuck it I'm done doing things for the day - rack soda batch (grape this time!) - take compost out - put pork chops on the smoker - rack soda again - put potats in oven - saute carrots and cover to steam - bring pork chops in (Dallas did this one) - sear chops - plate dinner - et - die Just a slow day today

Update on "I'm not tired." Turns out she was tired the whole time, but she didn't want to risk accidentally puking in bed. Poor thing is tuckered out hard.

@TheKanehB I know that I could get a new husband if my husband died if I wanted to, but I don’t think it would be a replacement, they wouldn’t be the same…I guess a lot of replacements aren’t the same, idk, that just doesn’t feel like the right word for it

A friend recently told me that if she died, her husband would replace her in 2 weeks I can’t stop thinking about it My husband would never, but that’s bc I’m irreplaceable (I’d like to think 😂) Is that a normal marriage thing? Do people feel that way about their spouse?
