If the Sixers had healthy Embiid they’d legit have won the east. No team through 3 games so far has looked anything special. The Sixers could easily be up 2-1 on Boston without Embiid, which did not feel possible before the series. (They haven’t even played very well too!!!)

@SnottieDrippen Neemy has been bad. I feel like Walsh and Scheierman have been fine. This team’s problems start and end right now with Derrick White’s shooting. If he can’t find the 3 ball, they’re gonna have a really hard time winning next round.

I mean, we say it all the time, it’s a whole different animal in the playoffs, and we always say why, the intensity and the focus ratchets up another level.

The only black mark on the Jays era is that they hate the home crowd. The amount of disappointing home losses since 2022 is almost as notable as the amount of electric road wins. Almost.

Nobody is ever fair when it comes to injuries in the playoffs. Celtics graves got pissed on every year they lost in the offs cuz of injuries.

Not that Denver deserves any defending after their performance/behavior so far in this series, but I’m amazed at how many people are discussing the injuries while conveniently ignoring what happened to Aaron Gordon. He’s literally the guy that makes their Jokic defense work.

@jakeissenberg There’s no convincing anyone not in the Boston bubble of who Jayson Tatum is. It will be just be our responsibility to remind these people what they said in the moment when his career is over and they realize they spent an entire career tearing down a guy who is a lock HOFer.

Over the previous three seasons with Tatum ON the court and Jaylen, Horford, Derrick, Jrue OFF the court, the Celtics have a 13.76 net rating.
From 2017/18 (Tatum's rookie year) - 2022/23, with Tatum ON the court and Jaylen, Horford, Smart, Derrick OFF the court, the Celtics had a 3.80 net rating.
This says more about Tatum than Cade. Cade's great, but Tatum has been one of the most impactful players in the league for close to a decade now. Also, Cade is averaging 6 TOs per game in these playoffs. What are we doing??
