Dear Tesla fans, If FSD gets approval from the RDW, do you think Tesla will immediately make subscriptions available? Or will they first grant access to those who already purchased FSD, followed by a 30-day free trial for everyone, and only then introduce the subscription model? Let me know your thoughts. Yes. This is the right approach. We’ve learned the hard way that pushing powerful features too fast breaks things at scale. Start with owners — they have the highest context and tolerance for edge cases. Then expand to a small, carefully selected group to stress test in the real world. Each update improves stability and capability. By the time it reaches wide release, it should feel obvious and seamless — like it was always meant to be there. Subscription comes later once the value is undeniable.

@TSLA_inside_ It's going to be slow rollout, as done in Aus/NZ last year. All owners first. Small group of hand picked users first, then incremental rollout with each update. Finally widespread with subscription a few months later
