Cards in Europe Review #5 | @Minipay
Rate: Great 🟢
Minipay just launched their card. It was not on my Berlin list but I tested it anyway.
The app runs on Celo, but i deposited USDC directly from Arbitrum via a @Daimo integration. Moved it to the card and the top-up confirmed in under 15 seconds. Withdrawal back out in under 3 sec. That speed is pretty good nowadays imo.
Spent €7.58 on chocolates at the supermarket. Charged $8.81 USD.
FX at 0.86 EUR/USD.
That is exact Visa rate. No FX Markup. MINIPAY must be absorbing the 1% ISA fee themselves I assume.
PS: I don't like comparing rewards but Minipay is doing slighlty differently and its worth mentioning. It's 5% in XAUT0, Tether's gold token. The balance sits as a separate line item in the UI as you can see.
I have a few ref codes in case you want to test it out before official launch. Follow and DM me. (Some geo are restricted)
@cryptonoshi@KASTxyz Yes, but the funds were successfully delivered to the USDT BEP20 address, which is the same address used for Avalanche C-Chain. I have experienced this before with @WhiteBit , and the funds were recovered and returned without any difficulty.
