After last night's caucus results, we must confront the reality that Donald Trump has an excellent chance of winning the presidency.
If Democrats hope to remain in power, they must adopt a progressive agenda that the American people will vote FOR – not just rail against someone to vote AGAINST.
That means taking on corporate greed, ending starvation wages, and making health care a human right.

Walgreens sent a prescription to the wrong location, so had an extra 20 minutes. Used it to clean up the grassy stretch along Mayfair behind Laurel Village. Filled a bag and sorted out some recyclables.

Matt Gaetz before the House Judiciary Committee on why the Biden Administration after 2 years has not de-scheduled #cannabis from the Schedule 1 list. Below, Gaetz cites a study that shows medical MJ states have a 24.8% lower mean annual opioid overdose mortality rate. $MSOS Approximately 83k people experienced opioid-involved drug overdose deaths in the United States for the 12-month period ending in December 2022. And medical marijuana is legal in 39 states currently. That means that literally speaking, Schedule 1 classification of cannabis is killing several thousand people every year.

Charlie shortened that to a punchier "No response." I remember thinking, "A fragment? We're allowed to do that?" We are indeed. That's why this week "Her mom didn't respond" became "No response." One of Charlie's many lessons I still use.

This week I made an edit based on something I learned from my mentor, Charlie Ericksen of Hispanic Link. Concerns sentence fragments. I described how a guy who had taken hostages ignored a phone call from the cops: "There was no response."
