Also think an O'Reilly car will give much more data throughout the race for the team and coaches to teach and him learn than Arca provides. Granted this is only if he can keep the car clean and run the entire race.
He seemed okay at the Rock during test despite the deep 70 lap run spin. 70 in you are pretty much on glass at that track. Avg green flag laps is like 40ish there.

I do think despite all the hate with the RCR news, the telemetry data etc. will help a lot. He had a good run at Dega (10th) even down a cylinder and the Arca race after the truck debacle. I don't think he was prepared for how snap loose the trucks can get.
We have to remember, it's a driver developmental contract.
