It's always yes to bombs, but no to our babies. This is what America last looks like.

Trump: We can't take care of daycare. We're a big country. We're fighting wars. It's not possible for us to take care of daycare, Medicaid, Medicare, all these things.

@kniborg @KirkLubimov That's exactly what China did, and now they're whipping our asses!
How can we explain this?

This is the best part from Pierre Poilievre appearance on the Diary of a CEO podcast;
"Those who push a socialist ideology have a gross contradiction in their view of human nature.
They say that human beings are wretched, self-interested, greedy when they’re in the private voluntary economy, but they’re angels when they’re in the governmental economy.
They argue that the government should just control everything because then we have all these angels that will decide for us."

@bigfatsurprise We can safely ignore anything any of the establishment health organizations say. The chances of them being on point are vanishingly slim.

France and Italy just stabbed America in the back.
While the U.S. does the heavy lifting against Iran, both countries are now blocking American military flights and access to their airbases.
Tell NATO to go fuck themselves.
Now the usual European trolls are crying and bitching because we’re not rushing in to save them again. Newsflash: Islam has already conquered large parts of Europe, and you helped make it happen.
We’ve saved your asses too many times, only to get spit on in return.
You’re on your own now.
Go fuck yourselves.

The debate over James Talarico calling God "nonbinary" is silly because it shouldn't be a debate. It is scripturally true.
God is everything. God is everyone. God is every gender. Case closed.
But we get into this ridiculous convo because conservatives find it Very Important to describe God as masculine. More importantly, they demand God be described as a man.
Several years ago, I did a segment on MSNBC and referred to God with "she/her" pronouns. I wasn't being political with that. I really wasn't. That's just how I refer to God, and it is scripturally sound even if conservatives swear it isn't.
So, this rightwing reporter reaches out to me on LinkedIn because he watched the segment, and he was quite upset with me for using she/her pronouns in reference to God.
I asked him: "What is your scientific argument that God is male? Do we know anything about his anatomy?"
He responds: "No, of course not. It's because God is referred to as 'he' and 'him' all throughout Scripture."
And I said: "So, let me get this straight: you have no scientific evidence that God is male, no descriptions of God's anatomy that would support that claim, but because God identifies as male and uses he/him pronouns, you respect and honor that. What does that sound like to you?"
And he started typing and then he stopped typing and then he blocked me.
These folks are loons and we should call them loons and we should challenge them on Scripture and we shouldn't back down from that conversation.
So, yeah, I think James Talarico is spot-on and I give thanks to God, in all Her wisdom, that She inspires him to speak the truth.

@NJGovPress No, we won’t tolerate the country being taken over illegal alien invaders.

Here’s the thing. We are going to HATE the next democratic president. Because they’re going to have to spend 4 years fixing our incredibly broken govt while figuring out how to restore our economy while mending nearly all our international relationships. All while addressing a country that’s basically insolvent. We got pilfered by the current administration so there’s entire systems that got wiped out while contractors and corporations got bloated off our tax dollars via special favors for and from Trump. This is going to mean higher taxes across the board and massive sacrifices just to get us back to neutral. Trump stole and gave away billions while wrecking every institution he could get his hands on. It’s going to hurt to fix them all and regain what we lost. This will all be while a restored justice dept prosecutes dozens of people in the Trump administration for massive corruption. It’s going to get very messy. I honestly don’t know how they’ll be able to do it and be able to win a second term. The majority of the country won’t understand why it’s necessary for their/our future.

@RonFilipkowski Until every MAGA terrorist is held accountable under 18 U.S. Code § 2383 for assaulting the United States—including the felon-in-chief range rapist—ICE cannot enforce 8 U.S.C. § 1325. Those who planned and terrorized the US Capitol have no authority to impose laws.

We have blood on our hands...
Trump said no new wars, and then bombed a school and killed almost 200 innocent children, 13 US servicemen, and has created an energy economic crisis.
I don't care if a child is black, white, jewish, arab, or green.
Killing ANY CHILD is completely unacceptable!
Look at these children and tell me this war is worth it...

💔🇮🇷 Trump killed every child in this video. Every. Single. One. The schoolchildren of Minab Elementary.

Earlier this week, I broke fast at Rikers Island with New Yorkers in custody, Department of Correction staff, Commissioner Stanley Richards, and Councilmember Yusef Salaam.
It was a night that will stay with me for quite some time. People sharing what little they have: breaking bread, offering prayer, making space for one another’s dignity even in the hardest place.
In a system too often defined by what it takes, I was reminded of what it means to give—mercy, dignity, and humanity.
May we extend that mercy as far as we can. Eid Mubarak to all.

Edward Norton: “The anxiety of these times is particularly intense right now. We know the world is effed up in ways that are unprecedented in our lifetimes. We live in this unbelievable onslaught of information. We see genocide being livestreamed to us. We see American citizens being killed by paramilitary people in our own streets for standing in solidarity with their neighbors. We’re seeing Epstein’s abuses titrated into us on a daily basis”
