I love to speak to almost anyone. I have heard bizarre and interesting stories from people at the grocery store and the park. People love to tell me things and I love to hear them no matter what I perceive their IQ to be. But I do agree, when we get to engage with someone as smart or smarter, it is scintillating.

There’s an incredible mass of the educated professional class that have clear midwit IQs. I notice this pattern often.

@Hitchslap1 As a previous manager in corporate America of a lot of people, midwits are compliant and obedient. They have the good degree because of their family connections and assume life will work out just fine. They don’t think they need to worry about it.

Also hantavirus is an old virus that has been around for a long time. I worked for a toxicology consulting firm for 15 years, There are basic hantavirus out breaks here and there and hantavirus is not a massive threat to humanity. It is transmitted by rodents. It is interesting that so many astrophysicists/physicists are dead or missing simply because there are not many of them.
