I took the train in this very station more than a thousand times in my youth, yet journalists keep asking me what ‘radicalised’ me. This attack is even worse than what you see on the video, by the way. The father of this mentally challenged boy had pleaded the police for help, as the extortionist ‘youth gang’ had threatened the boy they would attack him, but police ignored the father, telling him they would only do something after an attack. These are also not “foreign students”. These animals are born and ‘bred’ in Belgium, which makes it a lot worse. It shows the problem is a lot deeper than migration policies and will require a solution much more thorough than closed borders.
