I require one of three simple things to interact with me on Twitter: 1) Be funny 2) Be interesting 3) Be intelligent My focus has narrowed and starting today, if you don’t or can’t provide one of these three things, you’re going to be blocked.

Our next stop is the beautiful country of Tonga, where Kathy and I were pleased to visit with Elder Sione Tuione, his wife Sister Moala Tuione, and their daughters Evie and Caroline. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is in good hands here in Tonga.

Our mortal life is but a moment in our existence, but that moment—sometimes very difficult—is of eternal importance. Yes, our Heavenly Father wants us to learn and grow. And, yes, that growth at times entails disappointment and suffering. But He wants our lives to be beautiful and hopeful. To that end, and to ease our journey back to Him, He has provided a Savior. Through His love and atoning sacrifice, Jesus Christ has dealt with and healed everything we will encounter in life. What a joy to repent and be forgiven through Christ's redeeming love! Joseph’s story from the Old Testament inspires us to trust Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through life’s challenges. Heavenly Father stands ready to help us. As we strive to be with Him, He will always be with us.

I often think of the immense challenges facing this generation. The world is becoming increasingly contentious, and yet we are living in remarkable times. The Lord needs your heart, he needs your voice, your unique gifts and talents, to help prepare the world for his return.

As a young graduate student in Boston, I was assigned to work with inner-city youth in a Church congregation in downtown Boston. During that time, I met a group of young men who would quietly, profoundly change my life forever. I came to realize that the more I tried to serve them, the more they blessed me in return. Earlier this week, we were thrilled to sit down to dinner with each of these men—now grown—and their wives. My heart was full as I listened to their stories and witnessed their faith in Jesus Christ. Each has served a mission, been married in the temple, and is now raising a beautiful young family. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ has a way of placing people in our lives who shape us forever. I am deeply grateful for the examples, friendship, and enduring faith of these remarkable men.

SEEMS A LITTLE HYPOCRITICAL!” Were you dropped on your head as a child Repeatedly From a great height On to concrete

My father-in-law, Elder Richard P. Lindsay, served as the first Area President in Africa. An entry in his journal dated Sunday, June 21, 1992 records, “We attended first the sacrament meeting in the Highland Branch in Harare…A number of new branches have been organized and we are beginning to see a potential Stake in embryo.” The beautiful dedication of the Harare Zimbabwe Temple on March 1, 2026 reminds us the Lord is hastening His work (Doctrine and Covenants 88:73) to bring the blessings of His restored gospel everywhere to families in time and eternity.

“I have listened intently to all of your issues with the church, its members, your ward, Church doctrine and history, and your politics and I have identified the exact problem of what you need to change, young millennial saint.” “You did?!? I feel so seen!” “Please zoom in.”
