@henry5839201746 The youth of today are resourceful - they aren’t as helpless as you think, and it’s why so many people below 18 still frequenting age gated worlds in VRchat and in older chat age brackets than their actual age on Roblox. AI is a terrible coping mechanism though i know first hand.

as much as i dislike character ai and think its a negative impact on society, i do think its stupid to have this age verification thing to chat. many younger individuals (13-17) use the service as an escape/coping mechanism, and even though it's not healthy, suddenly ripping it away by locking it behind an 18+ wall is bound to negatively impact their mental health. it's like if you suddenly never let a methhead snort some crystal ever again. you're ripping away what they use to cope instead of slowly helping them distance from it and find other ways to enjoy life
