It's going to be a long time before I make another video, but I would just like to say, I am not a Catholic, I am Anglican. Over time, I have taken a more hardline stance against Anglophone Catholics. Catholics of every other nation are cool

@RightoidSupreme This isn't to say that you must always belong to the established church even if it's heretical. There are legitimate reasons to schism. But you won't be kicked out of the church of Sweden for having unorthodox opinions about the eucharist

@RightoidSupreme It's not arbitrary, it's the way Christianity has functioned since the early church, with national churches. In Protestantism, you don't ask if some denomination is true, you must belong to the established church otherwise you are in sin. I'm a Protestant before I'm an Anglican

@Notiscante This is a place where I have to disagree with you. You seem to view religion as just another cultural veneer rather than a universal truth separate from any individual cultural. The logic of "I am an Anglo therefore I should be Anglican" seems atheistic more than anything.

@Machai_Nundra afaik Catholics do believe in Kingdom Theology, and properly understood, the Catholic church should not be compatible with "western democracies" as such. But modern Christians, not only Catholics, have a very poor understanding of their own faith

@Notiscante I mean, if that is so I can certainly see that. After all, it is our obligation as Christians to redeem the world through action and ambition. Whether small or large, and in a nation like mine, it does not seem very possible. We've grown docile but still crave purpose regardless.

@Machai_Nundra In parallel, the new catholic converts are not different from liberalism at their core. They just want to live a peaceful life, no struggle, white picket fence, suburban home, money worship in career pursuit. No Catholic convert will speak of martyrdom

@BrunoEstro26907 Don't worry. In time you will see resistance take on new and surprising forms. Overall, I am optimistic, but understand that this work takes, literally, thousands of hours, and the majority of those hours won't be consecrated to video essays
