Message to Students It appears from social media posts that many students of class XII Board are anxious about their results/marks and are attributing it to change of assessment scheme i.e. On-Screen Marking (OSM) mechanism re-introduced this year. The Board is extremely sensitive to their concerns and is alive to addressing it accordingly. The CBSE reiterates that student well-being is of paramount importance and, therefore, has attempted to address all possible issues which could arise. The key benefits of OSM are uniformity in evaluation with adherence to the marking scheme prepared by experienced CBSE teachers. The marking scheme also contains alternative methods of answering so that children who answer deploying alternative methods are also graded. If any student feels dissatisfied with the result, there are clear and transparent avenues available, including verification of marks, access to evaluated answer books, and re-evaluation. For those feeling anxious or uncertain, tele-counselling support (1800-11-8004) is also available. They may also reach out through the email resultcbse2026@gmail.com. We would encourage students and parents to directly use these official channels to seek clarity and support, for any unanswered doubts. Every concern deserves attention, and no student is alone in this process. @EduMinOfIndia @dpradhanbjp @PIB_India @AkashvaniAIR @DDNewslive @PTI_News @sanjayjavin @PIB_Edu @airnewsalerts

@cbseindia29 I am a Class 12 student (2025–26 batch). My exams went well, I attempted all papers confidently and expected 70–80%. But I was shocked after getting ‘Essential Repeat’. I request CBSE to review the evaluation process and ensure fair checking. #CBSE@EduMinOfIndia

THE OSM HAS SCREWED ALOT OF US. SPREAD THE #Bringbackmanual Let’s ensure that the re evaluation is fair and MANUAL. OSM is reducing marks for no reason. It’s seriously unfair. Spread it around everywhere. This is the only way we can get the marks we deserve. #BRINGBACKMANUAL

Re-evaluation: ₹100 per question Verification of marks: ₹500 per subject Scanned answer sheet: ₹700 per subject And this is happening after thousands of students across the country are already questioning the fairness of OSM evaluation. 💔 A middle-class family with doubts in 5 subjects may end up paying thousands of rupees… just to check whether their child’s hard work was evaluated correctly. Transparency should not become a luxury. Justice should not depend on who can afford the fees. If CBSE truly believes in fair evaluation, then scanned copies and re-evaluation for genuine cases should be FREE. Students are already emotionally exhausted. Please don’t turn their pain into a payment gateway. — Anurag Tyagi #CBSE #FreeRevaluation #OSM #BoardResults #Students #EducationSystem #JusticeForStudents #AnuragTyagi

CBSE’s Commitment to Fair, Transparent and Equitable Evaluation It has been observed that following the declaration of the CBSE Class XII results, several posts have appeared on social media regarding the assessment under the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, particularly in relation to marks obtained by students in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The OSM system was introduced to enhance transparency, fairness, and consistency in the evaluation process by ensuring stepwise marking, which has long been a salient feature of the Board’s evaluation framework. The system aims to promote uniformity and objectivity in the assessment of answer scripts across subjects and across regions. Another key feature of the Board’s evaluation system has been the opportunity afforded for re-evaluation provided to students who may be dissatisfied with their results. This reflects the Board’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and equity. Accordingly, this opportunity will be made available this year as well. Students may apply for copies of their evaluated answer books, and in case any discrepancy is observed by them, they may request for corrective action. These processes are required to be undertaken through the mechanism prescribed by the Board. The Board once again reiterates its unwavering commitment to maintaining a fair, just, consistent and equitable assessment system, ensuring that they are in accordance with the transparent and robust evaluation practices adopted by the Board. @EduMinOfIndia @dpradhanbjp @sanjayjavin @PIB_India @PIB_Edu @DDNewslive @AkashvaniAIR @airnewsalerts @PTI_News

Imagine cracking JEE after years of sacrifices… solving one of India’s toughest exams… and then getting disqualified because your CBSE Board marks fell below 75%. 💔 Today, many students are not questioning their hard work… they are questioning the evaluation system itself. Students who cleared JEE are suddenly being told they are “not eligible” because of board marks affected by OSM checking concerns. This is not just about numbers anymore. This is about careers, confidence, and the future of thousands of hardworking students. Every student, teacher, and parent must raise their voice together. 📢 Because when trust in evaluation breaks, an entire generation suffers. CBSE must ensure transparency, fair re-evaluation, and justice before dreams are destroyed forever. #CBSE #OSM #JusticeForCBSEStudents #JEE #Students #BoardResults #FreeRevaluation #EducationSystem #StudentVoice #AnuragTyagi

#CBSE #OSM #BoardResults #Students #EducationSystem #FreeRevaluation #AnuragTyagi
