Shri @sanjayjavin, Secretary, DoSEL, met senior officials from the Department of Telecommunications and the Broadband India Forum (BIF) to explore a structured roadmap for expanding digital education across schools. The discussions focused on introducing digital education in a phased manner, leveraging BharatNet to provide affordable and reliable broadband connectivity to rural schools and government institutions. Key areas included strengthening digital literacy, foundational coding skills, cyber safety, AI awareness, and digital financial literacy. The initiative will be supported through focused teacher training, strengthening of ICT laboratories, and close inter-agency collaboration. This concerted effort aims to nurture digitally empowered, secure, and responsible citizens, in line with the vision of a Viksit Bharat. #Education4All #DoSEL

The Ministry of Education launched the online registration portal for Yuva Sangam – Phase VI under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative. “Yuva Sangam” is a flagship Youth Exchange Programme of the Department of Higher Education, Government of India, aimed at strengthening emotional bonds and fostering mutual understanding among young citizens from different States and Union Territories. The initiative promotes the spirit of “Unity in Diversity” by facilitating structured exposure visits between paired States/UTs. Hon’ble Union Minister for Education, Shri @dpradhanbjp, addressed the closing ceremony of the India–Spain Conference on Higher Education in New Delhi. The two-day conference was organised on 19–20 February 2026 with the active support of the Embassy of Spain in India. While addressing, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said that as we celebrate the Spain–India Dual Year 2026, marking 70 years of diplomatic ties, education, research, and youth exchanges are central to the shared vision of the two countries. The Minister noted that India’s National Education Policy 2020 enables global academic collaboration and extended a warm invitation to leading Spanish universities to set up campuses in India.
