How does he square that with the shocking Clapham Has Fallen footage over the last few days. Gang of black feral youngsters looting shops, in the high street forcing them to close with shoppers still inside and being let out one by one after an hour with a police escort. How frightening must that have been for shoppers at M&S, Boots, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s or McDonalds. As the phone footage shows the police were massively outnumbered. This should be a big national story but was underplayed. Had it happened in New York it would have received a bigger show here than in our own backyard. If he was any kind of Mayor he would have issued some kind of statement to ease the worries of Londoners. But he’s no kind of Mayor and come May 6 will be lucky to be hired to sweep up the detritus in Clapham High Street.
