Here are my takes on AI. They are simple.
1. New tech is unstoppable, the more powerful the more unstoppable.
2. Instead of slowdown, alignment and safety, call for AI security solutions. Those could work and will make things if not safe, then at least safe”er”
3. AI does not and will never have a soul or any form of consciousness
4. Human rights are predicated on humans not being copyable. AI is copiable and has no soul. Stop wasting air.
5. Most of proclaimed AI dangers are at the core - human dangers. Stop worrying about them
6. Most of anti-AI takes come from people worried about there existing non-human intellect. This is because humans have, for millennia, defined themselves as carriers of intellect. Get over it. Intellect is irrelevant to humanity. Come up with a new way to define yourself.

@bionicIsfuture So, I have a slightly different take on it... there is sooo much information which doctors have to parse through to do differential diagnosis, we by pass the capabilities of the average mind. However, LLMs aren't designed for diagnostics, so by themselves will not be enough

I’ve been seeing many instances where #chatgpt has been able to diagnose chronic illness much more efficiently than doctors. It makes sense..differential diagnosis, particularly of rare conditions, requires a vast amount of knowledge, which LLMs possess.

They were dismantled this Monday, July 31, just before the deconstruction of the bell tower, in front of a hundred devastated people. The rest of the building, erected in 1864, will also be dismantled. Hakim El Karoui, Macron's advisor on Islam, states Islam is the most practiced "religion" in France 2.5 to 3M Muslims vs. 1.65M Catholics - Islam is the second-largest religion in France but comes first if one counts active practitioners.
