@NovakWeather Why did temperatures cool off so much in south central/southeast MN? It's down to 53 degrees in Rochester. I thought it was supposed to be warmer than that.

Get ready southern MN. Big Time T'Storms are tracking E/NE & will roll thru much of the region between now & 3am. A TORNADO Watch is in place for areas near I-90 on south. It is going to be a long evening for many of us.

@jason1501free You must not understand that it rarely rains all day during the late Spring & Summer. Usually much of the day is dry. Remember that next time you see a forecast for rain during the growing season.

@NovakWeather Saw a map shared on this platform a day ago and it has 5” of rain for St Cloud. That was as believable as the snow maps that show 18” and you get maybe 5-6”.

The first of two rounds of significant T'Storm activity arrives later this PM as a warm front combined with unstable air becomes the focus for SEVERE weather over southern MN, western WI & much of Iowa. Localized heavy RAINS are also likely. Here is the area of greatest concern.
