The intense HEAT will continue thru Friday. Even 'Golf Guy' may want swing the club indoors during the heat of the day. Meanwhile, we will likely need to wait until this weekend for any appreciable T'Storm activity. Here is your extended outlook.

@MallekNoah I guess that 100°F figure is just a trigger for some people to really take note. If I would've predicted 99°F, you probably wouldn't have cared.

@NovakWeather Not what I was intending to say. I am just surprised you are still saying 100F is possible. First it was supposed to be today (Monday) and Tuesday but now end of the week. We didn’t even hit the upper 90’s today. High in Hudson was 94F. Still hot but not 100F.

We will be flirting with the century mark & high temperature records as we head thru this week. Meanwhile, if you're looking for rain, you will need to wait until the weekend for some much needed activity. Here is your extended outlook.

@MallekNoah Temps were in the mid-90s across the metro today. My predicted high since last week was in the upper 90s. So, about 2°F to 4°F off the mark. That's pretty darn close. So, why would you be surprised if we threatened 100°F by midweek? I mean, who care about a few degrees?

@MallekNoah so, you're saying that 2°F or 3°F off on a temp prediction makes it "shocking" for you? WTF?

@NovakWeather I’d be shocked right now if we get that. I feel like mid 90’sF maybe up to 97F is more accurate for high temps. But I would not be surprised though if we get that hot one of these days.

Hopefully everyone has their A/C in working order as the HEAT will stifling this week. We will not only threaten record highs, but some of us will likely reach or exceed 100°F. Eventually we cool down next weekend. Here is your extended outlook.

@16esupreme @Skyhighwarrior Not sure what you're saying. Do you have stats on how many & who have been cut? If not, then why are you commenting on it?

This CPC 30 day outlook for July hasn't aged well & it is only the 9th. Makes you wonder what they are smoking over there when putting this forecast together.

Holy cow! It is really going to be HOT next week. The silver lining is that the humidity will be kept in check. Regardless, here are the 00z ECMWF temperature forecast for WED pm. You're not seeing things, 100°F+ is in play for many of us.

@NovakWeather @16esupreme @Skyhighwarrior Biden was awful! Obama had big promises but never fulfilled them. Trump was good until about six months ago when he started to backtrack on some of his agenda.

@EvMacHommes @wildshooter71 Again, tell me what were the "cuts". Did we go from 10 forecasters to 9? Did we discontinue forecast guidances like the NAM, HRRR, GFS, etc.? Did we cut someone in administration? What?

I’d lean towards yes, given the bulk of cuts were heavily, disproportionately concentrated upstream from us, even at some of the closest upstream sites to us: Omaha, Rapid City, Aberdeen, North Platte, Grand Junction, & Riverton. For chaotic systems, this is significant.

@16esupreme @Skyhighwarrior what exactly is the "front line"? There are so many forecasters & chasers out there today that it makes your head spin. There is more data than ever before.

@16esupreme @Skyhighwarrior not necessarily. When you start blaming weather forecasts on Trump & his administration, that's on you. I'm a forecaster & I have NOT seen much of a difference in data that is available & my forecasts have gotten better. So.....you do the math.
