@JimmyHillside I think it would work for people who don't understand it.
I can listen to people speaking Italian and just absorb the beauty of the language. It essentially becomes a gentle background noise. If I knew what they were saying I would focus in on the meaning of the words.

I will never know whether listening to music whilst studying could be productive. For me, music just doesn’t happen in the background. If music is playing, I’m listening.🤷🤦♂️

Coming up to the time of year when witches are abroad!🧹 if you remember this theme tune (one of my favourites as a child) please don't wrinkle your nose! Again , phone propped on console, the mechanical noise really showing the delay...particularly difficult for rhythmic music!

By this time I had already given many recitals, made tv & radio broadcasts, started accompanying silents, built 1st synth & turned down a scholarship to RCM due to family circumstances! I used the money from gigs to assemble my 1st analogue tape-based studio at home in the 70s!
