Having a quiet pint in west cork when a swan flies into an overhead cable, breaking it and setting the hillside on fire. Two fire engines currently fighting the blaze. No electricity so can’t have 2nd pint. Oh and the swan is dead. Couldn’t make it up!!!

@gavreilly @VirginMediaNews Why do Covid survivors need to be vaccinated at all? Is there any evidence that natural immunity post-recovery is less protective than vaccination @kingstonmills? Similarly, will the 6-month time limit apply to both recovered and vaccinated - is this supported by any evidence?

It's even worse than that, if you question the logic of zero-COVID (for Ireland), you are practically accused of being in the same category as a climate-change denier. I agree that this is an important intervention.

This intervention on Zero COVID is really important There's been a creeping sense lately that if you're not "with" zero COVID, you're somehow not interested or not serious about bringing cases down But you couldn't get a more serious group than NPHET And they're not "with" it
