@WolfheartFPS I read it. I have two stamina upgrades and can fly over 2.5k from a drop position by mixing diving and gliding. It’s already pretty zippy. It reminds me a lot of Arkhams gliding system .

Crimson Desert petition to make flying cost a little less stamina. Even after upgrading stamina 75%, it still feels way too short lived imo. I spend way more time falling like a mad man out of the sky than enjoying Pywell's beautiful scenery 🤣 #crimsondesert

@TupletX @SophiaNarwitz Play a new game, with the mental bandwidth of a 1st game player confusing controls, visually a mess, and can't tell up from down. upsidedown controller, through a mirror and scotch tape glasses. Then try to tell me this puzzle is acceptable.

Did you know Gym Leaders are intentionally holding back against you? • In Pokémon Origins, Brock asks Red how many badges he has. When Red says “zero,” Brock picks only TWO Pokémon. • The Levels: The first Gym Leader’s Pokémon are around Lv 12-15. The eighth is only Lv 45-50. You’re telling me one of the region’s strongest trainers only has mid-40s Pokémon… when the Elite Four is sitting at Lv 60+? • Larry: In Scarlet/Violet, Larry is BOTH a Gym Leader and an Elite Four member. As a Gym Leader he uses a pathetically weak Normal-type team. At the Elite Four he switches to a high-level Flying-type team. Same man. Two completely different power levels depending on his shift for the day. The game literally shows you he’s holding back. • The Confession: In Black 2 & White 2, Cheren (the first Gym Leader) straight-up says the Gym Leader job is tough because “If I had my usual partners…” - admitting he can’t use his real competitive team against new trainers. • The System: They stand in a building waiting for kids to walk in, use mono-type teams that are easy to counter. • The Real Challenge: Notice the Champion is the only fight with a full balanced multi-type team. Everything before that was staged. Every badge you earned was handed to you. The system was designed so you’d pass. You weren’t being tested - you were being trained. Does this change how you see every Gym battle?

@GenePark Controls suck. It kinda reminds me of early Witcher 3 before a few patches. There is a lot of QoL improvements they could make to dramatically improve this game on th gameplay side.

restarted crimson desert on ps5 pro and ended up playing all night. much better time knowing what to do and being a pro at navigating the confusing menus. i can just vibe with the world and it looks gorgeous on the pro

@ChibiReviews Its a bullshit game that is also amazing. Its actually easy to know if this game is for you. If you like randomly exploring in open world games, its for you. If you like having direction be it a story, quest markers ect, its not for you. Its actually really simple.

@kelskiYT I'm the middle. Crimson Desert is all bullshit but its amazing bullshit. Its so easy to just get lost in the world doing things. But if you want a story that drives you forward this ain't it. The game is built around exploring and finding lots of bullshit.

@DarthMicroT It reminds me of early Witcher 3. I hope they patch it. Expand the interaction boxes a bit so if I can see something and I am next to it I can pick it up would be nice. Its annoying but the rest of the game more than makes up for it.

@PaulTassi My advice for people is the moment you get to the town. Fucking bugger off and go ride around and explore. You can always come back to the town and the "main quest" and play the game as you'll do so for the majority of it.

I understand people bouncing off the first few hours of Crimson Desert. I also hate the whole “it takes ten hours to get good” issue with many games, I just hope people can push through and experience what I have. I’m still playing a ton, so much more to do

@GenePark I’m looking forward to the discussion around it. You’ll either love it or hate it. There will be no in between. I love it. I’ve been goofing off for hours just riding and killing bandits and getting items. Lots of small improvements could vastly improve the game though.
