Urals oil is now above the G7 price cap of $60 per barrel at the port of loading for the first time since last July and is above the fresh EU price cap of $44.10 per barrel, according to LSEG data. Both G7 and EU price caps were imposed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine and mean sellers of Russian oil above those caps can't use Western shipping services and insurance. #oott

2018 was almost a decade ago. Texas has +4M new residents. It is younger, and more Latino than in 2018. You cannot compare results of today, with looking through the rear view mirror. Even the early vote in the primary is showing you: this is not your grandma’s Texas any more! And that’s a good thing!

@earlyvotedata There’s definitely an appetite for some fresh faces on GOP ticket in statewide races. However, Cornyn and Paxton have huge advantages in infrastructure and money. Given the challenges of covering a massive state where a lot of GOP primary votes are rural, that matters.

Would love to see how Hunt does against both of them at the same time but it likely leads to a runoff.
This is a Hunt internal but I do think that this matches reality, with some give or take to the numbers.

@varadmehta Cornyn certainly. Strategy for Hunt is make the runoff and coalesce the anti-Paxton vote there. Hard to see anyone getting 50% in the first round. Hunt has a lot of ground to make up, but he’s a talented politician battling two guys with serious baggage and internal enemies.
