Consider adding these movements to your training routine if you're into grappling, or explore these ideas for moving your spine during your workouts.

Most gym routines typically emphasize maintaining a neutral spine, and while that's not a bad thing, it sometimes overlooks the many ways our spine can actually move. This is super important, especially if you're into grappling or martial arts.

You see, our spine isn't just about staying straight—it's capable of strong neutral positioning, flexion, extension, lateral flexion, and rotation. It's also crucial to figure out how to train your spine to resist being forced into any of these positions because your opponents will always try to mess with your posture.
