I feel like whatever he does will get criticism cause some people will never let go off their obsessive hatred and trying to make him a poster boy for something he isn't. I think he should just keep doing what hes doing, 20 years in with an incredible catalog imo nothin to prove

Unpopular opinion, but BROWN suffers from a serious lack of restraint. If Chris Brown cut the tracklist down to its strongest 9 tracks and strip back the heavy vocal processing, no one would be questioning its cohesion. There is a classic R&B record hidden under all that bloat.

@_davyben @graham_tz Those are your criteria for a classic not necessarily for a lot of people. Songs like yeah x3 is still a bigger in clubs and parties now. People still do the busta rhymes rap till tonight even on live Tv. You might not admit this but Fame defined the early 2010s

@_davyben @graham_tz And a classic is subjective judgement than a factual. I and a lot of people consider F.A.M.E as a classic 18 songs no skips, album that carried the early 2010s era with songs like Deuces, yeah x3. Look at me now and more.

@NtambaJoshua @graham_tz F.A.M.E. is a highly successful commercial comeback. It has massive hits, but chasing aggressive EDM-pop trends means it’s locked in 2011, not timeless. It was a huge moment but it doesn’t come close to no-skip masterpieces like Confessions, Lemonade, or Thriller. It doesn’t.

@graham_tz Classic in this context is album. It’s always been albums. He doesn’t have that yet. He has commercially successful albums and far more commercially successful singles but not one classic album. Not one album that moved the culture or defined an era in R&B. That’s what’s missing.

@Moon_Godesss @AinzVariant This the problem with some of us team breezy. Even the constructive criticism y’all take them like an attack. We want the best for Chris and although this album has some amazing songs, the album would be way better with fewer songs. 🤷🏾♂️

Not a day goes by without you guys complaining about this album 🙄🙄 leave it alone already!! His fans enjoy it and we don't have a problem with how long it is, we are used to him making long albums like this and we love it!!

@BeenLikeThis4 @Cope_FX Oh he still can, he has it in him. What he needs to do in my pov is: make a short album (although team breezy likes these long albums) like 16 songs. Good features matter as well, pick hot R&B artists right now and a dope MC (not any rapper). GOOD PROMOTION!!!

@Cope_FX I don’t think he will ever get another one. Just like he will never get another number 1 song. Has nothing to do with his talent or skill. They just won’t let it happen. He has too many haters

@iamkonfuse Frérot le problème ce n’est pas que l’album a 27 chansons, le problème est que c’est Chris Brown. J.cole a sorti un album de 24 chansons avec 1 heure et 41 minutes.
