After our #EE24 launch this morning in Monaghan for @gildernewm I'm off out this evening with @joannie67, our candidate in Leixlip. Urging everyone to give Joan their Number 1 vote. She'll be a brilliant councillor for the town.

Early Dáil voting block gave me a chance to catch a canvass with our candidate @joannie67 tonight. Joan is a teacher in Confey College in Leixlip and will be a brilliant councillor for Leixlip in Kildare CoCo.

We need Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael out of local government, out of national government and out of the European Parliament. Sinn Féin MEPs will stand up for workers, families and communities. If you want rid of this disastrous government, come out and vótáil Sinn Féin on June 7th.

I was honoured to deliver the 2024 Graduation Speech at Westfield State University and speak directly to all of the young people who are about to embark on new, exciting chapters in their lives. Our young people in Ireland and right across the world are inspirational and gives us real hope for a brighter, better future. I called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Peace is the only way to ensure that the children of Gaza can share in this better future. Young people across the world are standing against the war crimes and injustices we see inflicted every day on the people of Palestine. World leaders must listen to the voices of the young, because this generation is right.

50 years on from the Dublin Monaghan bombings the ‘need-to-know’ basis is that everything must be known and the families have the right to know it. My thoughts are with those families today.
