Raised the closure of St. Patrick's National School with the Tánaiste today. We need urgent clarification on a new, fit-for-purpose building for the school and a clear timeline fro re-opening. Parents, students and teachers deserve better.

@Stillorganboy I am not speaking at this rally. So far as I know there are no political speakers. This is a really important rally. Please come along.

Will @martinheydonfg be attending this meeting, being held in the heart of his own constituency and concerning the agriculture portfolio he holds? He 100% should be there but the odds are, he won't turn up.

12 days into the SNA crisis and Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael can’t even agree when their review of the review will be completed. Yesterday, over the course of 12 hours, the Junior Minister said there was no point in having a timeline, Simon Harris said a month and Mícheál Martin said no timeline and then talked about May/June. And the senior Minister was missing in action. All of this is totally chaotic and utterly disrespectful of children, families, SNAs and schools. Sinn Féin’s motion in the Dáil on Tuesday will bring the voices of SNAs, parents and teachers from across the state into the Dáil and force the government to listen and answer their concerns. Together, we can stop these cuts.

Horrendous interview by Junior Minister Michael Moynihan on Morning Ireland re SNA reviews just now. Government is completely at sea & the Senior Minister is invisible. Total incompetence. It’s a really shameful way to treat children with additonal needs, parents, SNAs, everyone.

When even the radio presenter Gaving Jennings throws his hands in the air with confusion. A Car crash interview on the SNA Fiasco with Minister of State for Education Michael Moynihan this morning. I can be very clear "we've paused the process" he says.🫣 #MorningIreland #SNAs #WorstGovernmentEver #Paused

This week, the government has the opportunity to ban vulture funds from snapping up family homes. Under Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael, these funds have been given free rein to bulk buy homes - a political choice that is driving prices higher and locking working people out of home ownership. Sinn Féin has put forward the solution. The government must now act, ban this practice, and give young people and families the chance to build a decent life here in Ireland.

Cuts to SNAs in our schools are cruel and will have a devastating impact on children. SNAs do incredible work every day, helping young people learn, take part, feel included, and reach their full potential. I've been speaking to parents, teachers, and SNAs who are deeply worried because of the huge difference this support makes in children's lives. At the heart of this is a political choice by Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael to ration essential support - once again leaving the most vulnerable behind. The government must stop these cuts now and guarantee that every child with additional needs gets the support they deserve, and that SNAs can continue their vital work without worrying about losing their jobs.

Attended a very passionate full house IFA Kildare meeting tonight in Keadeen Hotel with my Kildare South TD @shonaghNiR Ní Raghallaigh SF. The Minister for Agricultural was a no-show unfortunately. Farmers were crystal clear, confidence in Bord Bia Chair has been badly damaged, and real accountability is demanded. Larry Murrin should step aside so trust can be rebuilt and farmers’ voices put back at the centre of our gold standard food sector. Farmers deserve better, and they’re not going to be ignore

@ciaranmullooly Why would you include the office of an opposition TD who has been consistently against Mercosur, but not include an independent Minister in the government who failed to make any effort? Directing protesters to Sorca Clarke is appalling, you should delete

This is a positive and exciting time in our national journey. The conversation on Irish Unity is live, happening in real time with great enthusiasm, especially amongst our young people. There is an ever-increasing onus on the government to do the political, economic and social groundwork now, to build on the chapter of peace and write the chapter of a successful transition to a United Ireland.

Mercosur could and should have been stopped. The Irish government has failed in its duty and abandoned our communities. This deal is disastrous for Irish farming, food safety and our environment. The fight is not over. It must be stopped!

Sinn Féin have a proud record of supporting Irish Family Farmers and opposing the Mercosur trade deal. On Tuesday we’ll be bringing another Dáil motion holding Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and government-supporting Independents to account for their failure to protect Irish interests.
