I'm not concerned about the MOU, which doesn't say much. I'm concerned that the entire military might of the US couldn't force the regime into submission. If America failed to win the war with Iran, how could it protect Taiwan? How could it protect the gulf Arab states?

My Cliff Notes of the MOU: 1. We will stop bombing Iran and their proxies 2. We will let Iran continue to murder their own citizens 3. We will let Iran make money by allowing them to ship oil while they smuggle arms into Iran 4. We will get our military away from Iran 5. The Hormuz will open so Iran can make billions shipping oil 6. No oil sanctions so Iran can make even more money 7. We will give Iran at least $300B to rebuild what we destroyed because why not 8. 60 days for Iran to stall on agreeing to stop their nuclear ambitions 9. Iran promises to pretend they don't want nukes with a pinky swear 10. We promise to leave Iran alone militarily 11. We promise $24B more to Iran because nothing like giving money to admit guilt and weakness 12. We will form some beurocracy, probably Pakistani, to oversee all this 13. The UN will approve the final agreement so people can see them as relevant again 14. Blah, blah more money to Iran and absolutely no bringing up the minor issue that Iran will continue to build and buy more balistic missiles to try and kill us with all the money we just gave them in this awesome peace plan

If you want peace in the Middle East, don’t take advice from Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, or Pakistan. They see us as the “Great Satan.”

We can strengthen our chances of this deal holding by cutting all military/intel assistance to Israel, they took every opportunity to tank this deal & will likely do so again unless we take action. We should also quietly get our troops out of the bases in the Gulf that can be reached by Iran. This ensures Iranian hardliners can’t strike us to drag us back into the fight. Take away every factor that we can control that could force us back into the war on Israel or Iran’s terms. Set all conditions that we can control in our favor.
