@BluelineBardown Johnson literally said it’s not about the wins or losses. He needs to restore the culture first and what it means to be a Canuck. That was the most refreshing thing to hear as a fan
The Canucks organization’s message to its players, personnel and fans:
All for one, and one for all.
I’m bought in. If the players buy in too next year the Sedins WILL restore what it means to be a Canuck in this city.
This was once the best org in hockey. Rebuilding THAT trickles from the top down. Anyone else excited for the culture change?
@brookwardsports Crosby, Malkin, Mack, Makar, Ovi none of these leaders left their team when it was shit. Ovi only won 1 cup but you don’t see him leaving
🚨#BREAKING: Quinn Hughes has reportedly informed Bill Guerin that he has zero plans to re-sign with Minnesota and would prefer being traded.
Multiple sources close to the organization claim Hughes never truly gelled with the locker room and often felt like an outsider throughout his time with the organization.
A reporter close to the team also mentioned him not remembering the names of certain players, which ultimately caused friction in the locker room.
@bluerdhandsdown@psucfb@PRiMETIMESNOOP_@nucks0 Sedins literally said the culture changed last 15-20 games of the season. Sasson came out and said the culture changed after a few trades. Not even salty buddy he got 0 cups and so do the Canucks 🤣
The Tampa Bay Lightning are projected to have $41.7m cap space in the 2027 offseason with Kucherov, Raddysh, Bjorkstrand, and bottom-6ers requiring contracts.
That same summer, Florida born mercenary Quinn Hughes will become an unrestricted free agent.
This could get crazy.
I'm tired of the constant sniping at Quinn Hughes from Canucks fans. It's whiny and immature. The guy was one of the greatest NHLers to lace them up in Vancouver, played hurt and gave it his all here. But he wanted to leave. Get over it. #Canucks
Sure sounds like Gold wanted to make big changes in basically all the departments and then bring in his own people.
Did ownership not want to pay people not to work for them AND then give the new people raises to get out of their current situation?
Wouldn't have been cheap.
Per Frank Seravalli, Evan Bouchard had a concussion during the 2026 playoffs. It makes sense now why he wasn’t at the top of the game, yet haters will open their dumb loud mouths about him #LetsGoOilers

A Russian kid fell to us in the draft, put up 60+ pts as a rookie at 20 yrs old. Came in his sophomore year “out of shape” & extremely misused in both 5v5 & the power play, yet he still reached 20G & 50+ pts. It’s the coach’s job to fit this player in his team, period.
