It's not even a hard study to refute. The methodology was basically "women get 40x more swipes, therefore all women are 40x more valuable than men, therefore most men are aiming out of their league." I am not joking. That's their logic. 🤡

Ah yes it's clearly men that have too high standards on dating apps and not the female mids who are only looking to date 6 foot 8 billionaire professional athletes.

The camel drinks both fresh and salt water. It can even drink water from the Dead Sea and nothing will happen to it. This is because the camel's kidneys filter the water: they separate it from the salt and turn it into fresh water suitable for drinking. The camel also eats thorns and they do not harm its stomach or intestines because its saliva dissolves the thorns like acid. The camel has two eyelids: one is thin and transparent, the other thick and fleshy. When a sandstorm starts in the desert, it closes its transparent eyelid to prevent sand from getting into its eyes. A camel can also change its body temperature: if it is cold its temperature increases, if it is hot in the hot desert its body temperature decreases. The qualities that this beautiful little animal possesses are impressive.

It's pretty easy, Rob. Women's peak sexuality years (18-28), according to society, are for her to use and exploit men with, not for men to selfishly enjoy or profit off of. This is also why "we're okay" with John Hamm dating a 37 year old but not okay with Leo DiCaprio dating a 25 year old. This is why we celebrate whores and endlessly forgive them but look at pimps and OF managers as evil Hope this helps.

What I'm learning is if an old man throws money at a young woman in exchange for intimacy, that's fine, that's sex work. But if an old man and young woman form a relationship because they like each other, that's exploitation. Intimacy for money is good, intimacy for love is bad.

We're not going to cross the Atlantic ocean. 1. No one has any idea how far away the nearest land is. It could be thousands of miles! 2. Surely we can just build faster caravels? The problem is that wind can only push you so fast. 3. There are no landmarks out on the ocean. Sure you can use the stars to determine your latitude, but with no way of knowing your longitude you'll just get hopelessly lost. 4. The storms are ferociously powerful. The waves are huge. Ships would sink long before they reached the other side of the ocean. 5. There's no fresh water. You'd need to carry it all with you, along with all your food. The more stores you carry, the less capable wind is of propelling you, and the slower you go. There's no way you'd be able to carry enough to avoid death by thirst or starvation long before you reached land. The Sail Equation prevents it.
Fred Krueger@dotkrueger

We're not going to travel beyond the solar system, according to Leonard Susskind. And neither are aliens, coming to visit us. We may not be alone, but we are stuck here for, essentially forever. 1. The nearest star is 4.24 light years away. The fastest spacecraft ever built would require 6,600 years to get there. 2. Surely we can just build faster spacecraft. The problem is to get to anywhere close to the speed of light, we need exponentially more energy. 3. Chemical rockets will just not work. Even fusion rockets won't work. Even 10% of the speed of light is not achievable. The Tsiolkovsky Rocket Equation prevents it. 4. Interstellar dust becomes hand grenades when traveling anywhere close to the speed of light. Ships break. 5. Space radiation will kill us over the time need to travel interstellar distances. Impossible to protect without massive shields, which require massive energy to accelerate and de-accelerate.

What is particularly galling is that, as Ian Smith pointed out at the time, Rhodesia was the only non-corrupt, well-governed country left. Africans had a higher standard of living in it than anywhere else on the continent. It was prosperous and free. It had no apartheid But because it was organized around the idea of excellence rather than the false god of equality, it had to be destroyed. As Peter Baxter notes in his Rhodesia: A Complete History: "as Smith was apt to remark, there was more freedom in Rhodesia than anywhere in Black Africa. This was undoubtedly true, and indeed, Wilson was forced to appease some of the most brutal and disreputable men of his times. Rhodesia existed under the rule of law, without a whiff of corruption, and independence had been achieved without a single burning barricade, shot fired or drop of blood shed. With very few exceptions, this was not the case anywhere north of the Zambezi, but it did not matter. Under current democratic norms, it was the right of the majority to rule, and if that resulted inevitably in the looting and destruction of the nation, then so be it."

The horrible dishonesty and hypocrisy with which Rhodesia was treated is still revolting

Had coffee with my friend Thomas today in Munich He looked truly awful "I'm not doing good man" he said "Been waiting six months to see a doctor for my lungs, they say it might be cancer" "Also, we barely survive, our heating bill doubled and tax is now almost 65%" "And the worst, my Muslim neighbors have been harassing my daughter, and there is nothing you can do to them" I took a sip of my coffee "Have you tried the new bike lane on Friedrichstraße?" "What?" "Smooth asphalt, rest area with benches" I smiled "Did you hear anything I just said?" he got angry I ignored his negativity and complaining Some people will never appreciate how great European quality of life is

It is actually pretty surreal how the most consequential US response to Islamism after 9/11 was to facilitate an explosion in Muslim immigration to this country and then to create a term ("Islamophobia") that made it socially unacceptable to criticize it.

one of the main arguments ye was making in his bi-polar rants against Jews was that they control everything including finance, media and black music artists. Sorry but doesn’t him loosing endorsements, having his assets frozen, being banned from travelling and having concerts cancelled reinforce the perception that they do indeed control everything?

US based “Activist” Amanda Kijera went to Haiti to advocate for racial justice. She was raped repeatedly and violently on a rooftop in Haiti by a local. And she says she’s “grateful” for the experience & somehow White men are to blame for that crime. She says the only issue she has was that she thinks that the rapists’ legitimate anger needs to be redirected at White men instead of her. Oh and by the way, in case you were wondering, yes she is.⌚️

The lifespan of many dog breeds has halved within the last 50 years, and one probable reason is because they eat foods (esp. kibble) that are riddled with various mycotoxins like aflatoxin (the most carcinogenic natural substance in the world) and ZEA, which is highly estrogenic. In the study below, almost 100% of samples of dog kibble were contaminated with at least one mycotoxin, and 88 out of 93 were contaminated with two or more. Pets are suffering just like we are from a low-quality industrial food supply. If you care about your pet and want it to live longer, you don't need a pill. Just stop feeding it kibble.

Scientists have developed a pill that can extend the lifespan of dogs by literal years, and they're pushing to get it on the market by 2027. It's a daily, beef-flavored medication made specifically for senior dogs to keep them healthy as they age.

At the mouth of the Mississippi River, there is a dead zone. A hypoxic zone: water so depleted of oxygen that almost nothing can survive in it. It forms every summer. At its largest, measured in 2017, it covered approximately 8,776 square miles. An area larger than New Jersey, sitting in the Gulf of Mexico, producing almost no marine life. The cause: nitrogen runoff from the Corn Belt. The 90 million acres of corn in the American Midwest require synthetic nitrogen fertiliser, produced from natural gas, applied annually. The soil cannot hold all of it. The excess runs off into streams, into the Missouri, into the Mississippi, and down to the Gulf, where it fertilises algae blooms that consume the oxygen when they decompose. The dead zone has existed in some form since the 1970s, when nitrogen fertiliser use on the Corn Belt expanded to the scale it is now at. The shrimping industry in the Gulf of Mexico has spent fifty years working around a seasonal dead zone the size of a small state, caused by the runoff from a crop that is 40% destined to become ethanol. The ethanol is a fuel additive. The dead zone is an externality. The externality is 8,776 square miles.
