@KazuyukiHoshino It's just the small details really! Like the ears looking slightly detached from the head, or the fingers looking a tad too long the way they're posed here, or the muzzle popping out a bit are all the things that still look off to me

@Shamaboy11 It still feel like it should be a little more moody, like maybe make it cloudy. I always didn’t like how bright a lot of the islands were. This is a long gone civilization’s home. I love the architecture added here just needs to be cloudy. Kinda like in crossworlds

I respect how much Korn has maintained the moody aesthetic that Sonic Frontiers’ art direction clearly aimed for, even from the concept art.
I heavily dislike how most other visual edits from others make the game too bright and colorful

Everyone is so negative about this and just having these silly low expectations. I bet if it was 06 and they only patched the glitches and sold it for 60 everyone most of you would sing its praise

Sonic Frontiers: Definitive Edition was leaked by the Korea Ratings Committee, however, this isn't the first time this has happened. Sonic Origins Plus was also leaked in Korea with news breaking out around early Feb 2023. SEGA would officially announce the game in March 2023.

@tails_spin I’m saying when you move on and really let go, you start to see things you didn’t notice before. I was annoyed by that panel too, but I let go did my own thing and when people started whining about it again I saw it with literally with a new perspective

@tails_spin Example I didn’t see at first but the way Sonic is positioned is as if someone is looking up at him, we’re seeing him through Surge’s perspective. She sees him as a pompous cocky asshole who talks too much

@DJWarnerStage @Gambito32x Exactly, that’s because we’re seeing it from Surge’s perspective, we know who he is but Surge doesn’t. All she sees is a smug cocky pompous asshole who talks too much. This panel we’re seeing it from her perspective

i used to like this panel bc what sonic is saying here in words alone is correct and not too inaccurate to his character but what's offputting about it is how it's smug it comes off bc he's vocalizing something that we all read between the lines in previous games + the art itself

@Gambito32x Because we are seeing this from Surge’s perspective, she sees him as a pompous cocky asshole. That’s why his face is like that, that’s why he’s wordy, that’s why the lighting is like that. Surge doesn’t see him as a hero and they wanted to show what she sees with this panel
