The online discourse of muslim twitter regarding eid-ul-adha is quite contrasting with reality as always, we are making jokes on “chicken eaters on eid are gay, posting goat pics“ etc. In reality, some buy meat even on eid & some eat daal. Shaikh - apni dekh🫤.

She's heavily exaggerating, if not outright lying. Mangalsutras, chooriyan, nose rings and nath are not Sunnah, every Muslim woman knows that. Muslims don't even call it a mangalsutra, it's called a lachha and it has no religious relevance. You can literally find countless Muslim women who don't wear bangles, nose rings, or nath at all. The nath is mostly worn as a wedding accessory on the wedding day, nothing beyond that. Many women don't even bother wearing it on their wedding day. May Allah forgive her for generalising like this just to affirm kuffar that their culture is still embedded in our religious practices and may He guide her.
