Statement on Video Depicting the Obamas
I just spoke directly with President Trump regarding the offensive Obama ape video that circulated online. The President assured me clearly and unequivocally that he did not post it. He understands the painful and racist history in America of depicting African Americans as apes, a tactic long used by white supremacists to demean Black intelligence and humanity. He knows this is wrong, offensive, and unacceptable.
The President made it clear to me that this post was made by a staffer and not by him. My recommendation to the President was direct and firm. That staffer should be fired immediately, and the President should publicly condemn this action. This kind of insensitive and racist communication does not reflect the heart, values, or leadership of the President of the United States, nor does it represent the America we are striving to build.
Historically, the intelligence of Black Americans has been questioned and attacked in shameful ways. From the era of slavery, when enslaved Africans were falsely portrayed as inferior to justify bondage, to the Civil War, when Black Union soldiers were often denied officer ranks despite bravery and leadership, to the Jim Crow era, where racist pseudoscience compared Black people to animals in textbooks, cartoons, and propaganda. Even into the modern era, these same ugly stereotypes have been recycled to undermine Black achievement, leadership, and dignity.
Racism must be confronted, not excused. Accountability matters. And leaders must always speak clearly when lines are crossed. #SpiritualDiplomat
@SecDef@POTUS 13 Americans died in Afghanistan. 2 assassination attempts on DJT. A CURRENT member of congress slept with a Chinese spy. A Sec of State had classified info on her house server. Anyone remember coverage of this level on ANY of that?
Instead of only talking about hoaxes,
I’d like to put the focus back on our warfighters!
Anyone that knows me and @POTUS knows how much we love the warriors. That’s what it’s about.
@IiiPaulus@NegativeZeeRo@D_B_Harrison@RepSylviaGarcia On June 10, a coalition of 27 Republicans and 44 Democrats ended the filibuster when the Senate voted 71 to 29 for cloture, thereby limiting further debate. This marked the first time in its history that the Senate voted to end debate on a civil rights bill.
Let’s be clear: the Department of Education exists because states wouldn’t fund poor schools, wouldn’t protect kids with disabilities, wouldn’t follow civil rights law, especially in the South. Anyone calling to abolish it is calling to turn back the clock—and we can’t let that happen.
@D_B_Harrison@RepSylviaGarcia The first HBCU was Cheney University formally known as Cheney Training School for Teachers in 1837. Howard was founded some 30 years later. So stop trying to make it seem like Republicans were the saviors. Facts matters.
@RepSylviaGarcia It was segregationist Democrats who were so ardently opposed to those things. The only reason Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) exist in the first place is because of Republicans (e.g. Oliver O. Howard - Howard University).
@MandingoRemy@BigYash_609 Are we going to ignore the fact that you don’t know the difference between to and too? Maybe you should research the two words and find out what is the correct way to use them.
@BigYash_609 As a man who identifies as an African American, these people are using to many big words for my people. As a black man I can tell you 100% we have no clue what the words "trespassing or private property" means. Feels like slave words so we just ignore them.
@totalimmunity@RickiDrinkwine@itsAlexMIA@UltraDane This is probably coming from a person that never served a day in any form of combat operations. Combat Arms is a small part of the battlefield. Combat Service Support serves the majority part of the battle.
The Six Triple Eight - 3/10
They overpopulated the cast, repeating the same script exaggerating simple issues.
But the main anger is: the script is just tiring and exhausting and over emphasized.
Makes me appreciate Hidden figures more.
@_Augustine_F It shows the ignorance that you have about the movie and the history that black Americans faced both at war and at home. The movie told their story. Double Victory
@NupeQuality Who cares about any of that?
This wasn’t a documentary about any of that, this was a movie that took inspiration from a war.
This isn’t a school material, it’s a movieeeeeeee

@JayVTheGreat How about you try to listen and understand what was said instead of spewing lies. The $750 is for immediate relief i.e. for food, clothes and critical needs items.
Someone break it down for me how Kamala is only able to approve $750 for the storm victims; but will somehow give all 1st time homebuyers $25,000 for down payment assistance…
@unclelukereal1@SirMaejorATL The sad part of this @unclelukereal1 is the fact that they are trying to tie not one but two interviews that you did with the VP back in 2019 to today’s election. Gaslighting is real for them!
I just love it when a guy who’s getting ready to go to prison for stealing money from innocent Black people when is your sentencing day you just got postponed didn’t you? a convicted felon, getting ready to go to jail Tweety meet un believable. You better watch what you said about me because a lot of people on the inside love me.
LUKE CAMPBELL AND KAMALA HARRIS ARE NOT BLACK AMERICANS – THEY ARE IMMIGRANT TETHERS
(Miami, Florida)— Luther “Luke” Campbell (@unclelukereal1) has now conducted two interviews with Kamala Harris, seemingly attempting to push FOUNDATIONAL BLACK AMERICANS (FBA) to vote for her, despite her history of policies that have disproportionately harmed Black Americans. Kamala Harris has a record of MASS INCARCERATION BY LOCKING BLACK FOLKS UP policies and allow ILLEGAL MASS IMMIGRATION—policies that threaten to economically and politically marginalize the Black American community.
It’s important to emphasize that Luke Campbell is not a Foundational Black American; he is a Bahamian immigrant tether who has built his platform off exploiting and appropriating Black American culture. Campbell has a history of benefiting from the Black community while simultaneously causing harm. His music career has been characterized by a focus on hypersexualizing and degrading Black women—content that he would never promote or release within his own cultural context in the Bahamas. Despite this, he now positions himself as a voice attempting to steer Black American political decisions.
In his latest interview, Campbell encouraged support for Kamala Harris under the guise of solidarity with a "Black woman." However, it must be made clear that Kamala Harris (@KamalaHarris) does not share the lineage or lived experiences of Black Americans. Her parents are immigrants of Indian and Jamaican descent, with her father’s Jamaican ancestry being one of Hindu and White Irish roots. This makes her identity distinct from the descendants of chattel slavery in the United States.
The attempt to frame Harris as a representative of the Black American experience is misleading and dismissive of the unique political and social needs of FBAs. It’s critical for the Black community to scrutinize who truly represents their interests and to reject the imposition of so-called leaders and figures who do not have the best interest of Foundational Black Americans at heart.
True raw footage of #CreatingLegacies at Albany State. 12 of our students flew for the first time. Watch as these two young men react to the plane taking off. Their priceless reactions capture the mix of joy and fear in this unforgettable moment. @ASUGoldenRamsFB
Hold the line Mark Robinson and don't let those Republicans push you out of the gubernatorial race in NC! They knew EXACTLY who you were when they supported you so don't let them be hypocrites now. Make them stand on your deeply rooted racist self hatred business and your unhinged views. #RolandMartinUnfiltered#ReecieColbertShow
🚨KAMALA HARRIS CONFRONTED BY BLACK MAN AT BARBERSHOP: In an eyebrow-raising display of "connection," @VP Kamala Harris @KamalaHarris recently attempted to host a barbershop conversation with Black men, only to be confronted for her noticeable lack of policies for Foundational Black Americans. When asked what concrete legislation or policies she would create specifically for Black Americans, Harris masterfully dodged the question, offering no clear answers.
And of course, reparations—one of the hottest topics among Black Americans, especially in California—didn't even get a mention. Not a word about compensating the descendants of those who were enslaved, even as Black Californians are currently engaged in a battle for reparations. Ironically, it was Black Democrats (@CABlackCaucus) who helped shut down two key bills that could have pushed the conversation on reparations forward.
So, it seems the barbershop, once known as a space for real talk, became just another stage for political tap dancing, leaving many wondering when (or if) Harris will ever show up for the specific issues impacting Black America.
