I understand the sympathy for Palestinians. People see horrors online and naturally side with the weaker. That instinct is human and good - none of us would want to live in a world indifferent to the suffering of children. But reality is never just black and white. There is no single, absolute truth. Those chanting “From the river to the sea” may mean well, but they don’t realize this erases Israel’s existence and leaves no room for two states. Those chanting “Intifada” don’t realize that for Israelis the word is filled with memories of buses exploding in our cities. There’s deep division inside Israel about this war. Many Israelis also feel pain seeing children killed-even after the joy many Gazans expressed on Oct 7. So yes, stay human. But please don’t fall for hollow slogans.
