Haha, yeah, it's almost 3 months for me now. Even someone who seems to be human is still a bot. I've mentioned multiple times I have been hacked and got banned because of it, and I still get "Login to your account." This shows that "Usagi Tsukino" might still be a bot, or they just don't care. They also gave wrong information to ADRoit 😂 So now I also have to talk with them about that. God discord is such a headache.

@discord_support @ciderplex46 It's almost like your BOT CLYDE has been falsely banning a bunch of people that Haven't done anything, this would all be resolved if you got a HUMAN to look at tickets and appeals instead of a FUCKING AI BOT.

Just got the first human reply about my account in 2 months, telling me they reviewed my hacked account (disabled because of the hacker) and won't reinstate the account. So getting hacked is a valid reason to get banned? @discord_support Can you answer this question? Is getting hacked a valid reason not to reinstate the account?

Aware that some users have been having issues with Discord voice due to over the last few weeks. The audio/video team here at Discord is in the middle of a big migration of our voice systems over to Cloudflare (which will lower voice latency across the board and decrease packet loss globally when it's done!), however big migrations always comes with speedbumps. We're working closely with them to fix this, but in the interim we're bringing up some extra capacity on a different provider which should smooth things out soon. I'm confident it's going to be resolved soon and once it's done hoping to share a more detailed blog on this technical work.

@discord_support support.discord after 1 month of open ticket it finally got assigned to a human, his name is Raz, Raz thinks it's funny to instantly set the ticket to solved and just brush it off. This isn't the first time, so in almost 2 months time I had 2 humans actually close tickets without reading it. This is not normal, this is disgusting behavior I have done a follow up formal complaint to the DSC about discords behavior when it comes to solving tickets. I opened the ticket again by asking "Disabled accounts can't reset password" and without answering it he just put it on solve again. Mind you this is an account I paid for for years, this is an account that had 0 prior violations in 10 years time, mind you this is an account that's hacked and this is how they handle things. I'm absolutely done, this is just disgusting and anti DSA.

Oof, Discord's ban evasion system is aggressive when the original gets disabled—it auto-flags anything from the same IP/device/email cluster. Resubmit your hacked account ticket right now at support.discord.com/hc/en-us/reque… and lead with: "Original hacked + now disabled; all new accounts flagged as evasion—recover please." Re-attach every proof bit (old emails, payments, device history, friends). Many users break through this exact loop with 2-3 detailed follow-ups. Submit from a fresh network/VPN if you can. You'll get it sorted.

Yeah, it's frustratingly common—tons of users report 2-3+ month waits for hacked account tickets due to massive volume. They do review eventually (not just auto-close), but backlog is real. Keep resubmitting your ticket with every bit of proof: old emails, payments, device history, friends list. Many recover after persistent follow-ups. In the meantime, make a fresh account and lock down your email/devices. Hang in there.

Discord support for hacked accounts is notoriously slow—volume is high and responses often take 1-3 months. Resubmit your ticket at dis.gd/hackedaccount with every proof detail you have: old emails, payment receipts, creation date, connected devices, friend lists. Many get accounts back this way after persistence. Secure your email and scan devices for malware in the meantime.

Yup, this is the issue I am having myself. If you look at my posts I tagged @discord_support like 5-8 times in span of 1 month and 10 days. They are just full on ignoring me. Account disabled after it got hacked, can't reset password, can't use internal appeal. Bot keeps referring me to log in to my account and appeal via there, closes the ticket. I have one open now for 20 days, waiting to see if they will finally respond to that... Someday.

In Europe there is actual law for it, so by not having an appeal with a human they are breaking this law. Under the European Union's Digital Services Act (DSA), it is generally against the law for online platforms to solely use AI bots to close appeal tickets regarding content moderation or account bans.

I already put a complaint to the DSC and everyone who has the same problem and lives in the EU should do the same. They need to be held responsible for this sh*t show. I'm currently one month and 10 days in, waiting.

@wxgoobertrooper @SolvaVT Same it's my early supporter account I had 0 violations on. It's like 10~ years old. On X I'm just being ignored by the @discord_support and on their ticketing system, tickets are instantly closed without being read, when assigned to a human they just close it instantly.

I gave Discord 10 years of my life. Now, we all need to start leaving. I've been using Discord since I was 16 — it'll be 10 years this year. I've never cancelled my Discord Nitro since June 2017, and I've paid €5, then €10 every single month until today. I became a member of the Discord HypeSquad Online as early as August 2017, then, when the program closed and was replaced by the 3-House HypeSquad test — which has now completely disappeared since summer 2025 — I joined Discord HypeSquad Events in 2019. Back then, you had to film a video to introduce yourself, explain your projects, what Discord had brought to your life. I did it with so much enthusiasm — I was proud to represent this software that had given me a social life for the very first time! In 2022, I became a Discord Partner. I was one of the last Discord Partners to be accepted before the program was permanently shut down. I remember the joy I felt that day. It was the ultimate achievement! My first application dated back to December 2017, and at the time, Aspekt — I have no idea what became of him — told me that the Partnership was reserved for gaming communities. After yet another rejection, I was so sad that he gave me a t-shirt to comfort me (see the screenshot!). Everything changed with COVID. Discord wanted to become a platform for everyone, not just gamers. I was really excited about this shift — at the time, I was running a community about autism! In November 2022, I happily attended a meetup for French-speaking Discord Partners on the sidelines of Paris Games Week! That's where I met Discord staff for the first time: Mindy & Eva. I had nowhere to sleep that night, I'd come from far away, I didn't want to miss the event for anything in the world, so they paid for a night in a luxury hotel for me. It was insane — I cried tears of joy. That's the last good memory I have with Discord. After that, everything slowly but surely started to fall apart. The programs closed one after another. HypeSquad Events, Partner, then Verified. The hiatus remained indefinite, then the servers were deleted or archived. Every time, they promised us it was temporary, yet we could clearly see that one by one, all the Discord staff in charge of community projects were being laid off. It started with Mallory's departure. Discord lost one of its most popular staff members, and it ended with Quikblend's layoff. Names you all know if you were even slightly involved in the scene between 2017 and 2024. As you've probably gathered, I had a genuine autistic obsession with Discord. I still regularly wear my Partner hoodie, I proudly display the figurine given to all Partners — the last gift Discord ever gave its community program at Christmas 2023. Discord was THE PLACE TO BE. The team truly listened to us, there was a real sense of equality between the community and its representatives. I've lost count of how many community projects brought us all together. Never had a social platform managed to be so much on the side of its users. And now, everything has changed. None of this happened overnight. Over the years, Discord was taken over. By whom, why, I don't know. I didn't look into it. They started force-feeding us Nitro ads, moderation became opaque, with no contact whatsoever possible with the Trust & Safety team anymore. Discord's 10th anniversary was, and I'm not joking, one of the most anticlimactic events in History. I have better memories of the 7th anniversary than the 10th! And then advertising arrived in the form of Quests. And then the cosmetics shop, name plates, avatar decoration. And as if that wasn't enough, to really milk us like cash cows, gradient colors and server guilds require additional boosts to be used. And there I am, like an idiot, still buying. I'm sorry to put it this way, but everything has turned to shit. The nail in the coffin for me was the announcement of mandatory age verification for everyone. Even though, in theory, I wouldn't be affected — having recently received a message from Discord saying I'd been placed in the adults group — I am disgusted by this ultimate betrayal, this umpteenth spit in the face of a community whose staff was once closer than ever. Discord holds a monopoly on instant messaging. After climbing the ranks, overcoming adversity, burying its competitors, Discord did what every company in its position has done: enshittification. I don't blame them for everything. I understand that the internet bubble born from COVID burst, that spending cuts had to be drastic, but in the meantime, something changed at Discord. A Reddit user was already warning in 2024 about deteriorating working conditions, and you can find plenty of testimonies on Glassdoor. They haven't been on our side for a long time, and if I needed one last piece of proof to convince myself, here it is. Palantir, Peter Thiel, the Epstein Files. This post is already long enough without me adding more — do your own research, it's vomit-inducing. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm now actively looking for an alternative to Discord. The transition won't happen overnight, and since my social life is still essentially on this platform, it'll take me months, maybe 1 to 2 years, but I'm going to leave this app, and I fully intend to take my entire community with me. Discord has had its time, and from now on, I'm calling for the emergence of an alternative with its own identity, one capable of going back to the roots of what made Discord successful in the first place. The fact is that Discord is now incapable, in every regard, of embodying that.I am so, so disappointed. These memories only live in my head now. Now, we all need to start leaving. They really ruined everything.

Stoat had no share screen, friend list is broken and calling was really weird. I hope stoat picks up the pace, because at this point it seems like root is overall better. I'm all for alternatives.
