There's next to zero reason to get a garbage pixel phone and use Graphene. Get a OnePlus and use MicroG Lineage.

I use F-Droid and #Aurora; my next phone will definitely have Graphene on it, but I hate phones.

This is the dumbest shit I ever seen. Shows retards can't even read. A: YOU DONT NEED TO INSTALL GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES 🌚. 2: GrapheneOS has a compatibility layer providing the option to install and use the official releases of Google Play in the standard app sandbox. Google Play receives absolutely no special access or privileges on GrapheneOS as opposed to bypassing the app sandbox and receiving a massive amount of highly privileged access. Instead, the compatibility layer teaches it how to work within the full app sandbox. It also isn't used as a backend for the OS services as it would be elsewhere since GrapheneOS doesn't use Google Play even when it's installed. Its purpose is to get apps from a verified source. GOS goes further and makes sure to add mitigations IE Mac randomization via wifi Patched the VPN leak. Added contact scope so apps don't have full access just like storage scope. Acting like they don't add value and further privacy and security improvements vs other shitty "degoogled" products is brain dead. GOOGL play services only collect the IP and hardware identifiers. Worthless Information you can fake via VPN and buying via cash.

I got a temp mint-mobile sim to try to unlock it ... still can't

North American samsung's can NOT bootloader unlock without an exploit. Use profiles and you won’t have to worry. Most concerns sounds like you don’t want to be tracked at all so don’t use google at all.

Moto is nearly as bad as xiaomi with supporting bootloader unlock as well.
Any device that's Carrier locked also can't be bootloader unlocked.

@_cookecrisp @GrapheneOS @Techjunkie_Aman Samsung in North America doesn't allow bootloader unlocking. Xiaomi is a bitch to unlock. Haven't had my hands on a Vivo, and Oppo is just oneplus. They're fantastic phones. My 8t and 7 Pro 5G were my favorite phones
