@alex_avoigt Not true in the real business world. Tariffs are split between the producer, importer, distributor and retsiler as all have a common interedt to stay compeditive. We know it as we export to the USA.

Tariffs are always paid by the importing 🇺🇸 US company and many are forced to raise prices for consumers or like in the case of John Deere laying off people.
Trump has initiated a massive new tax on US companies and consumers and the implicaions are higher costs and prices, increasing inflation, layoffs and worse.

Prime Minister Mishustin signed a decree asking Putin to submit to the State Duma a proposal for russia’s withdrawal from the European Convention for the Prevention of Torture. This convention obliges states to prevent torture and degrading treatment, with independent inspections of prisons and detention centers. Russia joined it in 1998. Why withdraw? Because torture in russia is not an exception — it is a system. From political prisoners like Kara-Murza and Navalny, to abducted Ukrainian civilians, to POWs brutally abused in captivity — the Kremlin doesn’t want anyone looking inside. By abandoning this convention, Moscow is openly admitting: • Torture is state policy. • Russia refuses international oversight. • The regime is isolating itself from every last vestige of human rights norms. Once again, russia proves it doesn’t belong in the civilized world.

With 🇦🇺 Australia likely to launch FSD Supervised this Friday, pressure is mounting on the UNECE to approve it too.
Not allowing FSDs is a crime because you are allowing accidents, injuries and deaths to happen every day that could be avoided. It can only be compared to not allowing seat-belts in the 19702 where the same lobby groups successfully delayed it for many years.
Regulators who do not allow it should be held accountable.
