Stop emailing me QR codes. If I’m reading it on a computer, I want to click the link. I’m not taking my phone out to scan my computer screen. If I’m reading it on my phone, how am I gonna scan it? With my backup phone?

Empowering experience, moments I live for! 🔊 Sunrise yesterday morning on #Alberta 🇨🇦 prairie grasslands. Peak #snowgoose #migration staging heading south to 🇺🇸 for winter. More like millions, many already feeding in fields along lake. Different day with strong chinook winds.

New study finds that honeybee competition reduces the nutritional quality of wild bee pollen diets 🐝 But, including high-protein plant species in wildflower plantings can partially mitigate these negative effects 🌸 🔗 doi.org/10.1111/1365-2…

Had a landowner sign-up to protect 72 acres of prime prairie habitat today. Portions of it are native prairie. And we’ll restore a couple drained wetlands.

It was an unusually dry October in the U.S. Dry conditions impacted every state except Alaska and Kentucky and got progressively worse throughout the month. On Oct. 29, drought affected 78% of Americans – the highest in the U.S. Drought Monitor’s record. go.nasa.gov/4fyrOWi

I’ll admit that I am a bit anxious about the next few days. Therefore, I’m going to need some extra Prairie Zens to calm my soul. There is 1 sight and sound that does that for me. Early morning ducks flying over the house going out to feed. Volume up! #prairiezen #migration

A day well spent. Over 100 2-3 year old pasque flowers dug from our production plot for customers and remnant prairie boulders.

0.29” of rain yesterday. That’s the largest rainfall event at my house since Aug 15th.

I was just at a work training and attended a GIS session on transitioning from ArcMap to the new ArcPro and the presenter asked if anyone in the room remembered working with ArcView and I was the only one to raise my hand and I don’t know how to feel about that.

1) How many millions of acres in the corn belt fit this description 2) How many of them came into production because of govt policy 3) How much of the pollution comes from them

Anyone else have fields that just kick your ass? On bad years they are bad, on good years they aren’t good enough It makes you wonder why they were ever cleared to begin with and why they’ve been farmed for as long as they have
