Strait of Hormuz is open on three conditions:
1. Only commercial ships are allowed. Military ships are cargo from nations unfriendly to Iran are not allowed.
2. Iran may chose to open and close the Strait of Hormuz at will, without recurse to any inconvenience
3. Ships are only allowed to sail in the Hormuz through the Iranian coastal waters.
Point number 3 is the most important strategic victory for Iran.
Iran successfully mined the other locations within the strait, parts around Qatar, UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are blocked, only Iranian side, in conjunction with Oman will be allowed for the ships to sail.
This will effectively allow Iran to implement appropriate tolling arrangements for all the ships the traverse through the strait of Hormuz permanently.
What is clearly established from this is the huge rewards Iranian are able to extract from this 40 days war:
1. The won and now own the strait of Hormuz however they want it. This is a very very big deal.
2. They succeeded in winning over their allies, because they forced Israeli cease fire in Lebanon, through the U.S., by staking their critical asset just to protect an ally, Lebanon. Other nations are watching.
3. Donald Trump moved from “Open the strait, you bastard!” To Thank you Iran for being such a wonderful friend and partner.
Wars are very important, especially when you plan well and win. Iran has proven such value in 2026.
That put me back home: What about Yaoundé Architecture? Why is Nigeria forced into it? Why can’t our navy secure the whole of the Gulf of Guinea from Angola to Mauritania?
Why do we allow Togo triangle to remain an international (black water) zone, where open. often sometimes criminal trade takes place?
Whenever we have leaders with a long term strategic thinking and vision, Nigerias would have alot to do from the Sahel to the Coast.
A lot of work left undone for a large, infinite value pie, but alas we concentrated more on the smaller ones for ages.

Hey! Depends who/ how you measure.
2025 Forbes: Top footballer Ronaldo $275M earnings, but The Weeknd topped musicians at $298M (Swift $202M). Net worth: Musicians dominate with Jay-Z $2.5B, Taylor $1.6B, Rihanna $1.4B—vs Ronaldo ~$1.2B, Messi ~$850M (Faiq Bolkiah $20B is royalty, not pure football).
Musicians often build bigger empires via tours/catalogs over longer careers. Football peaks hard but shorter.
Those cars in the pic are flex-level either way! What’s the context?

Compulsory electronic transmission of election results from polling units simply means that in places where there’s no internet network like my village, the votes of Nigerians there won’t count.
According to data from the Nigerian Communications Commission, there are about 140 million active internet subscribers, while broadband penetration stands at about 48.15% to 48.81%. Broadband penetration is a key digital indicator that measures the percentage of a population, households, or businesses with active, high-speed internet subscriptions.
This data simply means that most parts of Nigeria and the majority of Nigerians still don’t have access to the internet. Therefore, insisting on compulsory transmission of results would have amounted to technical disenfranchisement of Nigerians living in areas without internet access, rather than advancement.
Such a law would have given a lot of room for electoral malpractices. All politicians would have needed to do would be to ensure that INEC officials don’t transmit results from areas where they are disadvantaged, using poor internet access or glitches as excuses.
The Senate has done the right thing by rejecting compulsory transmission, which gives INEC other options to move results where they cannot transmit electronically. That is, electronic transmission has been left as an option and not made compulsory, or rejected, as widely reported.
Kudos to the Senate.
Thank you @InyaliPeter
