Ignorance, the root and stem of all evil
How China Built the World’s Biggest Train Station on Top of a Mountain Welcome to Chongqing East Station: China's $7.8 billion high-speed rail megaproject. 1.22 million square metres. 40,000 peak workers. A 16,500-tonne steel tube truss roof assembled on the ground and hydraulically slid 57 metres upward onto 41-metre tree-shaped "Huangjue" columns. • How 40,000 workers built a 1.22M m² station in just 38 months on a mountain • The sliding assembly method — why the 16,500-tonne roof was built on the ground first • The Huangjue tree columns — 41-metre branching steel structures designed for earthquake resistance • Stainless steel cladding installation at 57 metres above a mountain slope • Why Chongqing East Station is now the largest railway hub in the world • The high-speed rail network connecting Southwest China to 14 major cities

I see some weird things but this takes the biscuit. A vulnerability in the Companies House website, that let anyone view the private dashboard of any one of the five million registered companies, see directors' personal details. And modify them.

We really don’t give enough credit to Tasha’s. They opened their first cafe in 2005 in Johannesburg then they were bought out by Famous Brands & then the original owner bought her stores back. They have expanded into 4 countries. Arada, a leading UAE developer, has partnered now with Tashas Group in a AED100 million joint venture to bring high-end dining experiences to the GCC. The collaboration will launch at least 10 outlets over the next two years, including tashas and the new Café Sofi, with the first opening at Aljada, Sharjah in December 2025. This from an owner that had no qualifications & was working as the manger at the nino’s in Bedfordview

I’ve shared a lot of Black Skimmer videos, and people always ask: “Do they ever catch anything?” This video answers that question beautifully. And if you watch until the end… you’ll see that sometimes, it’s catch and release.

Eagle + Rain + Fog = One Insane Wildlife Moment Bone chilling wind, ice cold rain and a thin veil of fog didn’t seem to stop this majestic eagle. It slammed on the brakes and came sliding in, pantaloons swaying in the breeze, talons curled into tiny fists, eager to wrap themselves around a helpless hake. I love how rain transforms everything in a video or photograph, the look, the mood, the energy. Watching eagles come careening out of the sky while it’s raining, one of my absolute favorite things in the world.

The answer is you would want to go to Dentist A, because a dentist can’t work in his own teeth, he himself, needs to go to a dentist. Those that chose Dentist B were affected by their bias. In this scenario, the bias at play is the "halo effect," where we tend to make judgments about someone's overall abilities or character based on a single positive trait. Dentist B's perfect teeth and beautiful smile might lead you to subconsciously assume that they are a better or more skilled dentist, even though their appearance may not necessarily reflect their professional competence. Thanks for taking part in the survey & and have a lovely Saturday.

You live in a small, remote village. You desperately need to go to the dentist. There are only two dentists in the village. Dentist A has yellow, brown skew teeth. Dentist B has the most perfect white teeth & a beautiful smile. Which dentist do you go to?
