Why is a Pickering recreation centre FORCING patrons to use its “universal” changeroom?! The Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex in Pickering, Ont., is the latest rec centre to embrace a so-called “universal changeroom.” That means men and women, boys and girls, all get changed in the same facility. And if you have a problem with that, well, too bad. But why? ’Twas ever thus we had male and female changerooms. Later, along came the “all-gender” changeroom for those who were apparently confused about who or what they are. But the transgender and non-binary communities tend to be belligerent demographics. The status quo was not good enough for them, so pressure from the lunatic fringe has foisted universal changerooms upon normal people. Talk about the tail wagging the dog… We first reported this situation last year in Oakville, Ont. Rebel News was tipped off by female swimmers who made use of the pool at the Oakville Trafalgar Community Centre. They told us that the Town of Oakville has gone out of its way to accommodate transgender and non-binary people. And in doing so, indecent exposure is commonplace in the changeroom and shower facilities. And get this: when (typically female) swimmers complain about this behaviour, they are usually informed by staffers that men who are masturbating are merely “practicing hygiene.” Unbelievable… And our Oakville sources said when they complain about such indecent behaviour, the town’s bureaucrats and politicians say they are not being “progressive enough.” Alas, this madness is spreading like a bad weed. We recently met up with City of Pickering Counsillor, Lisa Robinson (@LifelibertyLisa), who has spoken out against the situation at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex. Incredibly, for adults who do not want to change with children – i.e., they want to change privately in the all-gender changeroom – they are forbidden from doing so unless they are members. But why? And another thing: whatever happened to “reasonable accommodation”? Apparently, this has gone the wayside as woke politicians force their constituents to embrace radical transgenderism. It’s gross. Perhaps another factor driving this perversity is the opportunity to get federal funding for community centres if the universal changeroom model is embraced. After all, Justin Trudeau never came across a pride parade that he didn’t want to march in. As for his successor, Mark Carney, his daughter currently “identifies” as a “transman” (i.e., a female pretending to be male). Bottom line: In the name of inclusivity, perverts are preying on women and girls. And golly, where are the feminists? Postscript: for speaking out against this, Coun. Robinson was actually censured by her colleagues on the council. Robinson was condemned for being “homophobic” and “transphobic”. Despicable. REPORT by @TheMenzoid:

Getting clobbered by the economy? Identify as an illegal alien and the feds will treat you like royalty Millions of dollars of taxpayer funds are being used to rent hotels to house asylum claimants. In Mark Carney-led Canada, by every economic metric, life is in decline. The cost of living, unemployment, homelessness, and food bank usage have all soared this past decade. Indeed, the war on poverty has never seemed so grim as we all breathlessly await the “elbows up” strategy to kick in. So, riddle us this: how is it that given the overwhelming debt and deficit in Ottawa, somehow there are apparently millions of taxpayer dollars available to put up illegal aliens in nice motels and hotels? The latest example: the Comfort Inn on Kingston Road in Pickering, Ont., is now owned by Durham Region. It was recently “repurposed” to provide temporary housing for asylum claimants. Translation: members of the taxpaying public are persona non grata at the so-called “Durham Reception Centre” but non-citizens are warmly welcomed. Yet, the question arises: in these tough times, is this a prudent use of taxpayer dollars? We went to the former Comfort Inn to interview City of Pickering Councillor Lisa Robinson. She is the lone voice on council who is highly critical of this program and laments that there was zero public input into this initiative as the meetings about the property were held in secret. But while on site, we learned about an astounding piece of information that has received no publicity whatsoever. Namely, “guests” at the reception centre are only allowed to stay there for a maximum of 90 days. So, what happens when that three-month term expires? Do these people seek accommodation at city shelters? Do they join the rank and file of the local tent city? But no. It appears they get upgraded, not downgraded! Case in point: we approached an African man in the parking lot in a late-model SUV. He told us he used to stay at the former Comfort Inn, but he now lives in a house. He also told us that he remains unemployed. So, who is paying the rent for that house? You guessed it: the ever-beleaguered taxpayer. Note: the average rent for a house in Pickering is $2,650. Then, things got weird. Staff and security at the former motel called the police. Why? Good question. Two police SUVs soon arrived. The officers were very cordial. We explained our purpose for being there and they passed on to us that a representative from Durham Region was en route to answer our queries. In the meantime, we were welcome to stay on the property. And then things got weirder: after about an hour passed, one of the police officers informed us that the person we were waiting to interview from Durham Region had changed his mind. Apparently, he would not be leaving his office at Durham Region – a headquarters that features a $1 million revolving door, by the way. Bottom line: it would appear those bureaucrats gainfully employed at Durham Region are not only good at wasting taxpayer money but they also excel at wasting everyone’s time. That’s unfortunate. There are so many questions about this “reception centre”. But there remains a dearth of tangible answers – which is egregious given that the taxpayer is funding this program. Prior to our visit, we did reach out previously via email to Durham Region. Here were our queries: 1⃣ If this is a federal government initiative, why is Durham Region involved? 2⃣ What are the capital costs and operating costs pertaining to this facility? 3⃣ Homelessness and food bank usage have rapidly increased this past decade. How do we win the war on poverty if we keep importing the world’s impoverished? 4⃣ Is this facility exclusively for illegal aliens or can domestic homeless people access it? If not, why not? 5⃣ From which countries to the illegal aliens originate from? Alas, none of our questions were directly answered. Instead, we were provided with the following statement: “The Government of Canada provided funding, to the Region of Durham, to purchase a former hotel in Pickering. It will become the Durham Reception Centre. Located at 533 Kingston Road, in Pickering, the centre will provide temporary accommodation and supports for asylum claimants through the Durham Humanitarian Response Program (DHRP). Ukrainian nationals began staying here in 2022. By 2023, all asylum claimants were welcome at this site. And as of March 31, 2026, the program had assisted 1,957 people, with 1,244 putting down roots in this region. The location was purchased with funding from the federal Interim Housing Assistance Program (IHAP), which will also help to support some future operating costs. Securing a dedicated interim housing facility was a core requirement of the IHAP funding. It also aligns with several priorities outlined in the Durham Region 2025–2035 Strategic Plan. Although owned by the Region, the Community Development Council Durham (CDCD) will operate the site. The team will provide temporary accommodations and settlement services for up to 250 asylum claimants who will stay for no more than 90 days. An asylum claimant is someone who arrives here then asks for help to stay safe. There is no federal income support while their claim is being decided. Municipalities and community organizations step in to help. Asylum claimants are different from government‑assisted refugees. The Durham Reception Centre strengthens this work by providing a dedicated, federally funded facility where individuals and families can safely and efficiently transition into long‑term, independent housing and begin building their lives in Durham Region." Alas, no dollar figures were provided. And the wording seemed to imply that Ukrainian asylum seekers were being accommodated here, although on the day we visited, all the illegal aliens we encountered hailed from Africa and the Middle East. And we can only imagine the full price of this program if these people all get a house to live in after their motel stay expires. Again: must be nice. @TheMenzoid

🚨Inside Communist-Controlled Cuba: As Cuba faces its largest humanitarian crisis in years amid growing tensions with the US, I went to see what 60+ years of communism has done to a country. Within 24 hours I was planning my escape out of the country after being followed by their intelligence agents, and a 2 star general waited to interrogate me outside my hotel room at 4 AM. Right now Cuba has no oil or gas, 7/10 people are going hungry, there is no medicine and some haven't even had eggs in a year. In communism there is no freedom of speech or press, and I was almost taken hostage for asking about communism. This is a look into Cuba like never before, no one truly knows how bad it is until now. Exposed: Toronto police parking officers costing taxpayers millions by clocking out early Do you remember the 1981 movie, Time Bandits? This Terry Gilliam-directed flick was a time travel fantasy. But in the here and now, there are real-life time bandits amongst us. And get this: these time bandits happen to be members of law enforcement! That’s what we observed (and video recorded) when we paid a visit to the Toronto Police Service Central Parking Enforcement Unit headquarters in north Toronto. By way of background, parking enforcement is quite the revenue generator for the city. Almost 400 parking enforcement officers (a.k.a., “meter maids”) write some 2.8 million tickets per year. That works out to more than $80 million per year going into the city’s coffers. Each officer is mandated to work a 10-hour shift. They get paid about $40 per hour. Or at least they are supposed to work 10 hours. But we discovered that such is not the case. Jay Bannister, a former Toronto cop who now runs Mad Lab Press, was tipped off by an insider that for several years now, parking enforcement officers are routinely NOT putting in a full shift’s work. And yes, we have evidence. Bannister went to the Central Parking Enforcement Unit just after 5 a.m. to observe officers arriving for duty in their civilian cars for the morning shift. At 6 a.m., the officers, now in their uniforms, left HQ in their marked cars. They are meant to be writing parking tickets until 4 p.m. Of note: each officer has a quota of 60 tickets per day, which is a goal that can easily be achieved in about two hours. In any event, these officers should be back at headquarters no sooner than 3:45. That way they can change out of their uniforms and leave at 4 p.m. But this is NOT the case. Instead, they routinely return to HQ by around 2 p.m. Indeed, the day we observed their comings and goings, some “early birds” had returned by 1:30 p.m. – yet keep in mind they are being paid until 4 p.m.! Translation: every officer is paid for a 10-hour shift even though they are barely working an eight-hour shift. This is called time theft. And it is costing the taxpayer almost $6 million per year thanks to all these officers going home hours early as opposed to working a full shift. It should be noted that the head honcho at parking enforcement, Michael Harrison, makes almost $187,000 per year plus benefits. And get this: last year, Harrison received a whopping 41% raise! But why? For turning a blind eye to time theft? Surely he knows what is going on. Last Monday afternoon, we paid a visit to the Central Parking Enforcement Unit. Sure enough, beginning as early as 1:30 p.m., officers began returning to headquarters. We scrummed the returnees. Our questions included: - Why are you off-shift – you’re supposed to be working until 4 p.m.? - We calculate that this time theft is costing the taxpayer almost $6 million per year. What do you have to say to the taxpayer about this? - As a member of law enforcement, shouldn’t you be setting a good example as opposed to defrauding the taxpayer? Those who did offer an answer said either “no comment” or “reach out to TPS Corporate Communications.” Alas, just one hitch: the policy of TPS Corporate Communications is to NOT communicate with Rebel News. So much for transparency… But now that the cat is out of the bag, the question arises: will the Chief of Police lay down the gauntlet and demand that parking enforcement officers put in a full shift? Or will time banditry simply be tolerated for whatever reason? Stay tuned. In the days ahead we shall bring you an update to see if these time bandits have modified their behaviour. Only when you drive the Cybertruck do you realize how incredible it is: a bulletproof tank that moves like a million dollar sports car! Reason for the angular shape is that the thick, ultra-hard stainless steel body panels cannot be stamped like the thin, feeble, paper-strength mild steel of other trucks. Cybertruck body panels would break 5000 ton stamping machines.
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

One of Elon's most vocal critics just bought a Cybertruck. Brian Krassenstein, who has spent years publicly clashing with @elonmusk, announced the purchase yesterday. His reason had nothing to do with politics. He has a young family and the Cybertruck is the only pickup truck in America to hold both an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award and a perfect 5-star NHTSA rating simultaneously. When your fiercest critics are buying your product because the data leaves them no choice, that's a different kind of win.
